I'm in the middle of this process, but don't know what the easiest way to pop the hatch panel with out breaking anything. What is the.safest tool to use.

This mod is so easy. For some reason I didn't have to break anything. When taking out the motor, I broke the pin without knowing it. Then when I went to flip it, it did it for me.

Also, you do not need to remove the whole blade and motor, etc. You can simply take your garnish off in your trunk, fold down your rear seats, and work from inside your trunk. I did this personally. I don't know why, but It was damn cold and my fingers were cramping, so I found it easier to do that. Plus I'm a small dude so it wasn't too difficult lol.

Even though I'm out of the fit community I still know people with fits and I still do this mod for them.
I came back just to bump this up

this is pretty cool. I like that you don't have to modify any parts and that its reversible

It might have been a mod invented here in Japan but it is not how the cars left the factory in Suzuka. I have not seen a single example in my corner of Japan and I've been looking out for the last couple of months.

And yes as said earlier, that photo was not taken in Japan. The numberplates are all wrong for starters. Looks much more like Malaysia.

Mod away though of course.

this isn't "JDM" you just learn how to flip your wiper 90 degree.

By golly you're right. Let's call it "JCS" (Just Common Sense) wiper mod instead.

As you can see the GK Sport is standing tall. No comment on your GE...
