diy thread for replacing rotors 07?

i snapped off a wheel stud on my 07 fit. i need to take the rotor off to replace the stud. from what ive read its only two screws that hold the rotor on? do i need to take off the 1 1/4" nut in the center to take off the rotor or just the two screws? is there any diy step by step guide for this?

just the two screws and you'll likely need an impact driver (the kind you hit with a hammer) to remove them. the caliper has to come off as well but you probably figured that out.

you'll probably strip the screws. then you'll need to drill out the screws.

These screws are not critical to the brake's operation, either. Many owners don't bother replacing broken or drilled ones.

Best way to assure easy removal is to have a new one on hand.

BUT

getting back to the original problem: snapped wheel stud:

Don't you need to remove the HUB to replace the stud????
(Never done it on a Fit, specifically)
