I forget exactly which one, but one of the new magazines this month has a pin out for the Fit/Apex V-AFC install. I think it may be the new Siphon.
correct. the new siphon has the pinouts for installing the neo on a usdm fit. Hondata installed it themselves and it DID gain close to 6WHP after. it was slightly lower at peak RPM maybe 3-4 but look at the curve it is amazing what a difference.
The car they dynod it on was an A/T with a CAI, header, and axle back exhaust.
That should dispell the myths. Theyshow the dyno plot and pinouts in the issue.
still trying to get ahold of my installer, dont trust much shops out here in az. all got bad reps, but will put an update up when all is done and tuned

^ That's the wiring diagram for the USDM Fit to plug the AFC Neo in. That's all there was in the magazine and that's probably the only info you'll find on how to wire this up to a USDM Fit.
Taken from Siphon #003
Not bad for an AT Fit.

I'm the other guy that has one of these installed and tuned. Sorry I haven't gotten around to actually posting a DIY but in all honesty my gains with it at the dyno were limited, due in part to the fact that my only other engine mod is a Fujita CAI (both the CAI and the AFC were sponsored freebies).
Stock for stock the car runs at an AFR of 11, with the CAI installed the AFR leaned out to about 12.2 - 12.5 from 1k rpm to 4k rpm, with the AFC I tuned the AFR to be at 13.5 from 1k to 6.5k and my HP gains were mainly from 1k - 4.5k where I gained about 6hp and 5lbs all the way through wich helped improve daily drivability a LOT; less need to downshift for passing power on the highway and I can short shift around town and save some gas by using less RPMs. On the top end I only gained about 2hp over the CAI's peak numbers, probably due to my lack of exhaust mods (I only have the stock axel back removed, header, cat and b-pipe are all OEM).
I've driven my Fit with this mod for the past 14k miles without an issue running this tune and I doubt I will have any problems with climate changes where I live. Its always tropical, humid and warm in Puerto Rico. So as for the longetivity of the engine from this mod I have my fingers crossed but I'm still to have any issues. I re-dynoed it recently and got the same results and the AFR was identical so its holding up and the stock ECU isn't "fighting" the tune it seems.
I'd have to go through all my dyno runs to post them up I'll try and get some time to do that for you guys but I'm always ubber busy. Sorry again for promising the DIY and not delivering...
any updates on the wiring up the neo? i tried wiring up mine today.. my CEL came on... anyone know the pinouts and wire colors for the map sensor, rpm, and vtec ?
