This past weekend I took my car down to a friend, Paul, at Teck Kits and they fitted the car with a grounding system. The kit is measured specifically for a Honda Fit 07-08 and comes with 10 guage wire (I believe).
I had an NRG kit before this but never installed as the wires were universal in length and were of a smaller guage.
The main difference I noticed after installing the kit was brighter display on the gauges, my Pioneer head unit, and HID's. Also when i turned up my radio and bass the HID's didn't dim when the bass hit.
sounds good. I'm in a mixture of both weather. Doesn't matter which one but this kit sounds promising lol I'm a lazy bastard so I'm interested in this kit but not at the time. Gotta pay bills + more for the moment.
A friend of mine was doing his variation of grounding kits in the mid 60s, starting on a 55 Buick that had lights blowing, gauges that were reading inconsistently, spark plugs fouling, and on and off starting..... He still adds grounding points to the old cars that he still chooses to drive..... He has a masters degree in electronics engineering..... I have looked in catalogues I get from company that makes and sells racing parts and chassiss for dirt track racing, and they sell a lot of heavy gauge wire and connectors for grounding..... Other than what it takes to the cars running the warning LEDs and 2 or 3 switches is the only electrics on the cars.
