Fujita Short Ram Intake and now smoke smell?!?

so yesterday, i installed a fujita short ram intake and it worked fine last night but today when i was driving around for about 45 minutes i realized a funny smell. It smelled like rubber burning. I smelled my tires and my brakes but it wasnt that. I smelled my engine and kinda smelled it. I just took it out for a 10 minute test drive just now and i could smell it again. Anyone know what this is?

im not sure exactly. i didnt really worry about mine. the filter is a petroleum based product, and rubber is made from petroleum.
