FireStorm Ignition Coil Booster

FireStorm Ignition Coil Booster for more torque and fuel saving - Zerotohundred.com

Does anyone have it?
Maybe it's similar to T1R V2 PLUS IGNITION BOOSTER. I think they raise the voltage from 12v to 16v or more....
The video is amazing....
What do you think about it?

Yesterday I found in my garage my old Accel 200+ ignition amplifier. I used It many years ago with my opel corsa...
As soon as I have time I'll try if it works on my jazz....
It raises voltage according to rpm (12v at idle and 18v at about 3500 rpm).
In theory it should work!!!!

I have a Mallory Hi Fire in a van but it won't work with the 4 coil setup... It looks like you would need 4 of them, 1 for each coil and 2 heat ranges colder spark plugs... Iridium or platinum plugs would be goners real quickly and multiple electrode plugs would melt after pinging non stop for a few hundred miles.. I had to use NGK copper core plugs 2 heat ranges colder with the Mallory box and it did every thing they say this product will HKS makes an ignition booster that has a wiring harness for Fits but it is over $500.

are you all saying that this ignition booster really works? i always think it is only gimmicks... have anybody ever do a dyno test on these kind of products? If it really works, then i want it...

The 4 coil setup of Fit/Jazz has 4 different negative signal coil but the same 12v positive, so if you find the + before, a single ignition amplifier should work.
On my previous car it's done his job!
Think about it like an overclock of your coil...

Other ignition amplifiers will produce a spark for 20 degrees of crank rotation.. I don't know if it does that at throughout the rev range though.. Back in the old days they referred to boxes that did this as dwell extenders... I just remembered that I had put a Mallory box on my Harley shovel head that was modified with high compression pistons, high performance cam with solid lifters, S&S Super B carburetor, 2 Accel coils and dual plug heads.. With the box it was possible to start the engine with the kick starter by hand... Even without an accelerator pump on the 45mm Super B carburetor the throttle response was surprising.

CD (capacitive discharge) ignition is completely different.... but you should change coils too (Fit coils doesn't work with this kind of boxes).
I think that under 150 hp and without a turbo coil on plug and stock ignition are enough.

The stock ignition hasn't been a problem for me.. I have the KWSC high boost kit that is putting out a bit more thanhttp://www.shop.kraftwerksusa.com/07-08-Honda-Fit-High-Boost-Supercharger-System-888-129.htm 150 HP.

Stock ignition is rarely a problem, but when you add boost or other important changes, you should also think to improve it.... especially with high boost! A coil for NA engine is a bit different from a coil for turbo.
