What would you like for your Fit?

Howdy there Fit Freaks,

Although I've been on this board for a while, I don't post much, and have been on a vacation from the tuner scene for quite some time. Anyway, I'll get to the point.

A friend of mine down in Florida has opened a shop specializing in automotive custom fabrication, producing things such as twin throttle bodies, porting, intakes, cams, fuel rails, and the like. He mentioned that he'd like to expand the sorts of cars that he works on, and so I obviously, for you guys, recommended him the Fit. After all, he originally was making parts for the Mitsubishi Mirage, which infact is sort of similar to the Fit. So anyway, what I'd like to hear from you is... which of the following would you be interested in purchasing/testing for his company:

Intakes (Short Ram and Cold Air)
Intake Packages (Ported Manifold, Ported TB)
Throttle Body Packages (Dual/Quad)
Upgraded Fuel Parts (Bored Rails, FPR's)
Camshafts
Valve Springs

I know it seems shady, very little detail and stuff, but at this point, we're just gauging interest to see if it would be a worthwhile investment. Thanks all,

Aaron.

Id like to see stuff thats well thought out. Id like to see someone flowbench every single part of the intake and find the bottleneck. Also, Id like to see Dyno charts of a fit before and after modifications.

I'd like to see intakes similar to the last station or arc or the honda veni. It's not that I am into the JDM stuff really I just like that design better.

Oh yeah, and I'm cheap so lets keep the $$ down.

AJR's T1R intake is basically a copy (if not the exact same intake even) of the Honda Veni, and compared to the Veni's $600 price tag, the T1R is a steal.

* quad TB bolt-on with appropriate filtering and air sensors for street use

* independent rear suspension kit replacing the torsion beam and allowing for rear camber adjustment

* cheaper coilover systems

* NADM jet black projector headlights that can use standard H4 bulbs

Those are just my ideas for now

If your buddy could work out cams and a valvespring package.. which I'm sure will be needed to increase the revs past the factory redline. I'd buy in a heartbeat if he had them ground from a reputable place. all we need is that and hondata to step it up .

As far as the cams.. it'd be nice if there were 2 one kinda a real mild cam for street use that just ups the powerband to the factory redline.. and then another for going ape...

Would you like some?

The GD4 Fit should have such a setup since the torsion beam would get in the way of the drive shaft to the rear wheels. Should be an option for us, even if not a viable (read affordable) one.
