I live in Argentina and i have buy a honda fit 1.5 cc 110 hp stock...manual transmition
All the cars i have got , all i modified the engine( big cams, headers, polished cylinder head, etc)


I wanted to increase the power in my Little fit but all... naturaly aspirated.(not turbo).


Question:


How much power i can increase the 1.5 engine for daily use if i polished the cylinder head, put a cat cams, a stainless exhaust sistem, and remap the ecu??


140 hp??? or less??

What's funny from the title of your thread is that people will think you made 110 'extra' wheel horsepower naturally aspirated (N/A) from stock.

There is a difference between "whp" and "hp". My 2007 Fit 1.5L (1500cc) came with 107hp stock, which translates to about 85-87whp. After an intake, header, catless downpipe and full exhaust and a tune, my Fit now puts out about 115whp or about 130hp.

you test the fit more a less how much top speed now it runs with the new setup??

 

I don't know what the top speed is as I rarely take it over 85mph/137kph. There are a few members here who have done a lot of engine work and added turbochargers or superchargers. Some members race on the race track and other on the street. There is a thread around here somewhere that addresses the top speed of the Fit.

I've added a cold air intake, headers, down pipe, cat-back, and I can definitely feel a difference over stock. I'm also waiting to install an intake manifold once I get my flashpro with the tune I need pre-installed, should make some significant gains. Once I get my HP #s back I'll let you know ;-)

I finally got my intake manifold installed and I'm in the process of getting my flashpro tuned with the help of Vittune, once I get my tune calibrated right I'm going to hit Englishtown and see what times I can put down. At some point I want to upgrade the clutch/flywheel, I'm over 100k miles on the original clutch (bought the car with 75K on it) so I'm interested to see what my car will do with it's current mods:

No numbers yet, I'm in the process of getting e-tuned with vittune so once that's all done I'll post my numbers

Hey, any numbers port Weapon-R intake manifold, I am thinking to get one.

 

I asked Vit Viper his opinion on it a few years ago and he said that it would give you a negligible increase or decrease in numbers. So he talked me out of it. Looks really nice though! And just remember there are a few different versions so make sure you're getting a corrected old one or a new one.

 

I haven't done a dyno yet, so I don't have any additional numbers.. but I will say I can definitely feel the difference, especially on the highway when the vtec kicks in. I'm hitting 100 with out even really trying lol.

 

Englishtown? If you haven't hit Englishtown before doing your mods, it'll be hard to compare before and after results.

 

I am going ahead with header first, I have ordered a replacement of stock to 4-2-1 from Weapon-R here is the one Weapon-R® 953-111-116 - Honda Fit 2007 Stainless Steel Street Header

My car is stock car & actually it is Honda City model sold in India, engine is L15A1 same as Fit models outside of India.
My next step post header go in will be bigger throttle body, I lean R18 civic throttle fits in well, can someone provide me mode details on R18 throttle, an direct link will be more helpful.
