you can use worm clamps to pull it up. you can find them at autozone/kregan/pep boys, costs between $3 and $5
or
you can mount the exhaust's hangars into the center of the rubber mounts instead of the round space at the end. that's free unless you want to paypal me $0.50 for the idea
yeah. i cut one of the rubber hangers in half and used some clamps to pull it up. its about a little more than a finger gap in between the bumper and exhaust tip
yeah it looks really nice raised up. I actually bought my HFP with no exhaust flange but included the stock muffler for $50. So i had to take it to a shop anyway, i just had them redo the hangers cuz i never thought about using the middle of the rubber hanger thing... haha
i'd imagine that it would move less because there's no longer any 'play' in the rubber mounts. it looks so much better where it sits now; it's like a girl you know could be hot if she just fixed her self up a bit.

hah, nice way of putting it! those girls are usually so hot and they don't even know it.
yep this is a must do for anyone with a hfp muffler, i just put the flanges in the middle section and presto! done! no muffler shop mod just good old thinking.
also heres all the sound clips i got with my intake and the muffler, sounds pretty sweet if you ask me

Could any of you who posted the pictures on the trick to raise the HFP exhaust post a quick step by step guide. I want to buy this exhaust and I want to do it right the first time to make it look good. Thanks!
