OFFICIAL EK lip thread

I know the GD3 can fit an EK lip on it with minor mods and have only seen a few scattered around the interweb so I thought I would start a thread. First, how do/did you mod the lip and most of all lets see those pics! I have also read the the rear EK hatch lips are a direct bolt on as well. Has anyone done this? I can get a carbon EK for $150 on Ebay and would love to use it. and the lips are generally cheap.

This is news to me, I'd like to know how to go about this as well. Since EK parts are fairly common and cheap.

I still have the front and rear lip from my 97 civic (still have the car too, bought in 98). I'm going to see how this goes over the 4th of July weekend.

Of course. I'm kind of hoping it doesn't work out too well since I have no side skirts.

I didn't really get a pic of it but the sides have quite a bit of gap. Your best bet would probably be to cut the lip in the middle and push the sides to have no gap, then see how much needs to be trimmed from the center. This particular front lip needs the top center edge trimmed or else it sits up too high. The rear seemed to fit better with less hassle, still has the gaps on the sides though.

Interested in how this works out; I have a 98 civic anyway if it doesn't fit on our Fits

Not trying to drum up an old post but you all inspired me to give it a shot. I recently bought this fit and the front lip was missing! They try to cover over the bumper and paint it but failed. I have a 98 ek sedan as well so if this didnt work it was going on the civic. It is a very close fit and once I get a new bumper I think it will fit even better! Sorry for the late night garage photos. I will take some better ones soon.
