Just a minor point of clarification. Mr Jackson references PowerCard, which is a registered trademark of Moss Motors, Ltd. The PowerCard brand covers several different products, including the old analog product which Mr Jackson refers to generically as "PowerCard."

With the exception of a few legacy products used in older California emissions legal supercharger kits, the PowerCard products available today have been developed in conjunction with our partners, Dobeck Performance, and do not use any of the technology with which Mr Jackson is familiar.

It has also been stated on this thread that people remove the analog PowerCards from their RSX kits. This is entirely correct, but ignores the fact people are switching to Hondata ECUs for boost upgrades. The PowerCard supplied with the Moss/Jackson Racing RSX kits were designed and intended to meet California emissions only. CARB rules do not allow any additional tuning capability. If you want more power in an RSX, you must switch tuning solutions.

"SuperCard" sounds conveniently similar to our trademark, perhaps trying to benefit from the association. Hmmm...

The Fit is a cool little car. I wish you folks all the best in your tuning endeavors.

Cheers,
Robert Goldman
VP Business Development
Moss Motors, Ltd.
To further clarify Robert Goldman's statements, Oscar Jackson Sr. introduced Robert Goldman to Mark Dobeck of Dobeck Performance. Mark Dobeck and his team of engineers along with Oscar Sr. developed the first PowerCard before Robert Goldman was ever introduced to Mark Dobeck. And that introduction was made by Oscar Sr. So if anything, Robert Goldman should be thanking Oscar Sr. for the introduction.

So if there seems to be a similarity it is because Oscar Sr. started the whole PowerCard technology for automobiles. And Oscar Sr. even produced the "PowerCard" name for which Moss Motors has conveniently taken as their own.

But several years have passed since Oscar Sr. has been involved with the PowerCard. And as evolution happens in all products, I am sure the PowerCard has evolved.

Fortunately for the Fit market, Oscar Sr. has produced an even better fueling solution than what he had with his original PowerCard while he was working with Moss Motors. And that is why we call it the SuperCard.

Oscar Sr. and the SuperCard. Two technologies you can depend on.

Robert, hope all is well at Moss Motors! We sure had a lot of fun while we were working together!

-Oscar Jackson Jr.

Robert@Moss is an unknown quantity at this point
Oscar,

You are quite right, your father did introduce us to Mark Dobeck, and we do appreciate the introduction. Mark's work saved both of us. Without a workable tuning solution, we (meaning your father and Moss) would not have been able to complete the Ford Focus and Acura RSX supercharger kits among others.

My only minor bone to pick is your father did not create the PowerCard name. It evolved through discussions in the Moss marketing department. Your father certainly liked and approved of using the name in conjunction with the supercharger kits.

Mark dobeck liked it too, so much so that he designed the current Gen III hardware to proportionaly resemble a credit card.

Good luck with your kit for the Fit.

lol, I have been watching the JR kit even since I found out they were using the Rotrex supercharger. Nice to see everything coming together for it.

I havn't kept up too much on it latley, what is included with the 5psi Kit now?
From what I understand there is no intercooler, no header, no upgraded injectors required. So that leaves just the tuning solution, necessary piping to the TB, the actual supercharger unit and misc mounting brackets right? Anything else?

So.... Are we looking at a sub 3000$ kit then?

Unfortunately, the Rotrex unit is ~$2200 by itself.

Will JR make a new kit for the '09 1.5L i-vtec motor?

i wonder if that motor is easily swapped over to our the 07 i want that little undercased "i" infront of my vtec too

i digress: First Drive: 2009 Honda Fit

here's the highlights of the article:
164% more rigid and only 22lbs heavier
118hp and 107 ft/lbs
"revised" rear suspension (wutever the f*** that means)
hella better interior
longer and fater but not taller, so a slightly lower center of gravity
more bolstered seats
did i mention 164% more rigid?
6MT with LSD (LOL jk, dream on guys)

sorry about that interruption guys, let us get back on topic...

Even with that taken into consideration, is the ballpark still around 3K?

The target before was 3.5k for the 5# kit and 5k for the 10# kit. No idea what the target prices are now.

I'm still wondering, is the 10# kit user installable, or does the Hondata part require visiting a Honda shop??

The 5# and the 10# kit are basically identical minus the difference in pulley, upgraded injectors and engine management. So if you can install the 5# kit, then the 10# shouldn't be much more difficult.

lol, We have an M/T Geo Metro in the family too, we still argue about which is slower that or the A/T Fit... on the freeway I think the Fit will slaughter the Geo, but from a stop I'm not so sure...
