I dont really want to get off topic, but it was more than 15.

Anywhoo i dont doubt anything at 10psi. Oscar Jackson knows his $hit! and I definitely doesnt see anything bad happening at 10psi.

5lb kit

what about the longevity of the 5lb kit? if a 10lb kit has no issues, i would imagine that even on stock internals, the 5lb kit would last a long time no?

now, i have seen a few images of the JRSC kit, from the other post, and it looks like the kit will run piping all around, and potentially if not already remove the Sport's fog lights. if so why didn't JR go about making the SC similar to the K series and D/B series SC where it simply replaces the intake manifold?

you wont have to remove your foglights, on top of that... the kit looks nothing like the old pics.

M3WannaBe is an unknown quantity at this point
This kit sounds really promising. How much torque steer are you getting with the 5lb kit (and I know you're in sales and all, but please don't say "none" )?

fantastic news! I belive it was you who also mentioned that you experienced only a small penalty to fuel economy (if any at all) under 'normal' driving conditions? I realize that its going to be more expensive to fill up, and i'll probably drive her harder and that will have an effect, but its cool if driven frugaly, you can still eck out some good mpg.

This is great news. This is whats going to keep me interested in staying with my fit after 5 years and keep me from buying an si or gti for more 'pep'.

The way i argue on a Fit vs Si is that the Fit ultimately has more utility. That's in addition to better gas mileage and all that other good stuff that the Fit has going for it. I mean, you can't turn an Si into a mobile bed or carry large amount of stuff. The Fit's just more versitile, hands down.

Plus, with a set of good tires (Azenis 615) I smoke Si's up and down the canyon road.

totally agreed! not to mention that i feel that our cars' steering feel superior to the si's, doesn't feel as artificial. (which i know is getting nit-picky, as the si's feel is great as well. we are just a tinsy bit better!)

Seeing as how i know my friend better than the ChinaFit guy, i'm going to have to side with Skunk2's blown motor XDDD.

WHICH still leaves us with the question of longevity of the L15.
comparing a built motor and a stock motor is 2 different things. built motors usually have lower compression and have a higher tolerence for detonation especially right when the motor was dropped in and the ECU is relearning itself. You can blow a motor with 5 psi if not set right, and just enough detonation took out a ring land (like fuel starvation or wrong timing). 2nd HKS has even stated the rods can take up to 200 ps, but it could be the JDM motors are built a little better then US motors too.
