Getting the 5lb then going back to have install and the other upgrades will definately run me more.

What I was happy about, Oscar did tell me that the difference b/w buying the base and then upgrading to high, is not a major difference in price from buying the high boost right off the bat. So that makes me want to buy the base. SOOO CONFUSED!

I want boost
You can install the ugrade for the highboost. Just swap out the pulley, throw on the injectors and plug in the Hondata

Easier said than done lol. But your right. I guess I can. I forgot to ask, is the Hondata Reflashed or is it the full stand alone that I can have tuned.

sickfit, as far as shop time goes, oscar said its a very easy install. "If you've ever changed brake pads, you should have no trouble installing it." i believe were his words. just jack it up and install, you can probably do it in your own garage with no problem. I guess we'll see...

EXCELENT!

I am definitely going to want the High-Boost kit. Would you recommend ordering the regular kit now and upgrading when available or just waiting for the High-Boost kit?

I'm patient and the car has less than 1,000 miles on it so I can wait if that's your suggestion.

Question:

The Dyno graph now available on the kraftwerks site shows that the supercharger itselft will put out 121whp and the dyno graph of Chris's car from Siphon magazine showed that he put out 145whp. So Chris's car is puting out an additional 24whp with just headers and exhaust?

It shows somewhat less power than we'd been led to expect by some of the posts here. Is it true that it was limited to 120hp due to CARB restrictions? If so, how was this accomplished?
In order to meet CARB specs, we have used the stock injectors with our SuperCard unit. And these stock injectors have been our big limitation, and we have reached the limit for the little Fit injectors at 121 WHP. Remember this is the Base CARB pending kit. This kit is to be used with a stock header and cat.

We will be offering an injector upgrade package for those that want to do a header and cat-delete, and it will work directly with the Base kit. The upgrade pack will be a minimal price, plug and play, and will allow full support for tons of modifications.

We have tested a few different cat-backs, and they all have shown minimal gain. On a S2000, for example, we found a cat-back system that lost over 50 WHP!! The biggest performance gain you can do for your Base SC Fit is ultra-light wheels and high-performance tires.

...so we'll just loose the carb exemption in the process? not that it bothers me that much, just wondering.

will these upgraded injectors do ok with just aftermarket headers, b-pipe and axle back? or will they only be for cat-delete applications?

just saw the dyno's...

got some mixed feelings at first, but now i think i can hold out on the supercharger a little longer than i thought.

these numbers are significantly less than chris' car...but still represent at least 30-40 more hp to the wheels and around 20lbs of torque, which is still gonna be nice!

leonie, wave, get your kits a.s.a.p, i want some real world reviews!

It is really up to you. Your car is well past break-in, and you are probably looking for a little more oomph. If you would like to have some fun now, do the Base. But if you are willing to hold off for a while, wait.

IMHO, I think the discount on the Base kit will allow it to be a cheap upgrade to High-Boost later on, so you cannot go wrong getting the Base first.

Those that have I/H/E will be right there with me pretty much. Most if not all that will be purchasing this kit will have those anyway.

Yes, you will lose CARB approval with the injector upgrade, same as losing a cat. The upgrade package will work absolutely perfect with your setup, as the injector upgrade will support all exhaust modifications.
