i had one of their superchargers back when they were jackson racing...the s/c failed after only 30k and they wouldnt warranty it saying it must have been abused or improperly installed...so ya they left a bad taste in my mouth...

Sorry to hear that, and I probably would feel the same way if that happened to me too. But just to a possibility to who to really blame, Moss Motors. I don't know when you bought that supercharger, but most likely it was Moss Motors handling it since they have a contract to use the name "Jackson Racing" for quite sometime, and still today. Unfortunately I heard a lot of horror customer service stories about them, much like yours.

That probably didn't change your view on them (Kraftwerks and/or the true Jackson Racing), but maybe one day give them a second chance.

i had one of their roots blowers installed on my 2000 civic si back in 2001. just over 30k and the bearings seized causing the blower shatter internally. i wasnt just out the cost of the blower but the countless hours on the dyno properly tuning it since the management system it came with was far from safe to run daily. needless to say after a shotty product and poor fuel management system that came with it not to mention the poor customer service i will never waste another dime with them.

2000/2001, Moss Motors was definately running the show and stamping the name Jackson Racing.

thats no excuse for how they treated me and countless other people on honda tech who purchased their products...their fuel management system was a joke....their customer service was far from satisfactory....and not backing up their warranty after countless people had bearing failure on countless units....then people on here without a clue are getting on me about calling them krapwerks? maybe you all need to do a little searching on the name jackson racing and see how your so highly regarded company has treated people over the years.

so you're going to blame the jacksons for something that they had no control over? It was a Moss motors with their name. That's like you going to jail for a crime that someone else committed that said their name was yours, even though there's proof to show that you didn't do it...

118hp bone stock. no exhaust, no injectors, just a straight bolt on. i honestly believe that 160hp can be accomplished.

sorry that you don't like kraftwerks. so far i hear good things about them from this community which is good enough for me...hearing a little about the background about this company and their not so great history, i'm hoping they changed

who name was on the product? they allowed their name to get run into the ground for a profit. thats pretty low. and dont think they were not the ones who were buying the blowers from moss and reselling them....same thing with buying the rotrex and reselling them....they are still the same crooks....changed their name and never seen again on the old forums....sounds to me like run and hide under a new name.

Wow! If anyone will have a problem with their KraftWerks kit it'll probably be me first. I'm doing 120 miles a day commuting to work 5 days a week. This includes stop & go traffic, all out blasts to triple digits(yes, I'll do it when it's just me on the highway coming home at dark o'clock at night), highway cruising, ridiculous cold weather and soon hot weather with humidity to match. So far no problems to note. Nothing leaking, no odd noises, just power on demand when I want it and a smile on my face. If anything it'll be my automatic transmission that gives up first but we'll see....

KraftWerks gets a vote of confidence from me so far.

umm...so yeah you could have just typed this:

yes, i have never used a kraftwerks supercharger before.

and yes, the 'new' kit does only make 118whp, but all these turbos that you speak of...yeah pal, those are all running more boost and have upgraded injectors and the like. compare apples to apples man. that 118whp fit is with totally stock components with tiny stock injectors.

and that fit you claim that 'couldn't' make 200whp...it was making around 190, which is hardly faultable. and that too was the old style kit.

if you don't like kraftwerks, or the jacksons, dont' frequent these threads. you think they are running and hiding...but you are looking for them?

Remember artieman, that is our base kit with stock injectors.

I am sure you know that 180cc stock injectors cannot go higher than about 120hp. So we are a bit handicapped by using the stock injectors.

Oscar Jackson Sr. was the man who started the Honda/Acura aftermarket industry. He has developed a very strong name throughout the aftermarket industry and OE manufacturers for building high-quality performance products.

As one of the leading Rotrex kit developers, we have done a lot of testing and passed along information to both Rotrex and other worldwide distributors. We have built development pieces for Rotrex Corporate on numerous OE applications to help push the technology further.

We put a lot of effort into our own KraftWerks product, all the way down to the packaging of each component before it leaves our facility. Even some FitFreakers have already seen what we can do at our facility, and our testing equipment at work.

Have you guys looked at the Rotrex? It's an extremely simple turbo-like fan on a gearless planetary setup. It would take an act of $deity for it to blow up. Crazy talk!!

This is 1 guy telling the "History". Look at all of artiemans posts nothing he says would lead me to believe him on any topic.

I have known the Jacksons for a couple years now and they are top notch and willing to go out of their way to help members. Look at the members that had the kit professionally installed on their cars and were experiencing problems. The Jacksons looked and inspected the car for the customer and found the problems that was caused by installer error. Oscar Sr and his team are top notch and Oscar Jr will answer your questions you have when you call or email.

Kraftwerks gets 2 thumbs up from me, and Im sure the other members that have met, gotten help and had their questions answered will agree.

Ask around, I am sure people that owned our products will say they enjoyed them and they performed as described.

I was at a track day recently testing with the Fit-R, and gentlemen in Ferraris and Mercedes CLK63 Black Series were approaching my father and I talking about their old CRXs or Preludes with our Jackson Racing products. They all loved them and wished we made parts for their cars now! And they wanted a ride in the Fit that passed them.

I also had a Fit customer recently call that was not too sure about who KraftWerks was and its history. As soon as I mentioned Oscar Jackson, he said "Oh, well than I know it will be awesome. No need to further explain who you are. Put me down for a kit."

Multiple KraftWerks S2000 kit owners owned our old kits, and purchased this one because they knew they would be taken care of. Others just purchased because they knew the same is synonymous with quality. My favorite quote: "Dammit, I know the KraftWerks kit will be bitchin' and perfect... Ok, put me on the pre-order."

We build for the daily driver consumer and most everyone has enjoyed our high-quality products and customer service. I encourage you to ask around to the average consumer that has owned our old and new products.
