I just purchased a boost gauge to help me keep an eye on whether or not the kit is working properly. This is the first time I'm installing a gauge of any kind - can someone who has already installed a boost gauge for the KWSC tell me which line is the one I need to tap into for the gauge? Much appreciated!

You should be good with tapping into the line that leads into the magic black box.
Ok good, cus I was the last turbo guy who posted and I wasn't sure.
I was like, "I'm pretty sure I have 155 in HUGE bold letters in my sig.. "
OK I'll butt out now so we can get back OT.
Could I expect the same hp from a kraftwerks supercharger kit?
...with the 10 boost??

With 10psi of boost I think they're looking at 165-175 whp (correct me if I'm wrong). The 5psi base kit seems to be netting anywhere between 115 and 130 depending on supporting mods. Turbos will make a bit more, somewhere in the neighboorhood of 150-160 at 6psi (with proper supporting mods like exhaust), and about 200whp at 10psi.

thanx for your help
BTW do you have any turbo lag? I will have to wait for the $$ and figure out just why I get a stumble and hesitation at highway speeds. Sometimes I am afraid that at stoplights my Fit is going to stall... can't have that with either a turbo or supercharger

But seriously, anywhere above 2k rpm I have no noticeable lag. Off idle, if I dip into the throttle a bit I can easily make positive pressure. With the fit's short gearing I'm usually up in the torque range before I know it. If I'm on the highway there is LITERALLY no lag. While cruising around town I'm usually less than 1 second away from positive manifold pressure, less if I downshift. Rolling into the throttle gently will always produce boost with no waiting. I'm talking about snapping open the throttle here.
That said, the KWSC will make boost immediately, no matter what. All I'm saying is that with the tiny ass turbos that come with all the currently available kits you aren't gonna feel anything you'd call "lag". You probably won't have time to wonder where the power is before you have power. It's all personal preference.
OK I'll stop whoring up the SC thread. If you wanna talk more, feel free to PM me.

I don't know if anyone has this problem but here goes:
I have a WeaponR Street header & megan axleback exhaust
My setup before the KWSC I also had a Fujita SRI. I used the Blitz TC on SP3 all the time, and I got an average 25-26mpg per tank easy, no matter how hard I drove the car (and I drove it hard).
Right now, I have the KWSC installed and I'm not using the Blitz TC at all - and I'm going easier on the gas (especially since Blitz TC is off, the throttle position is going to be way lower for the same amount of physical push when using the TC). Basically I'm shifting around 3-4k and I have a 50/50 city/highway drive (same drive every day, no big differences from before). I'm currently getting something like 20 mpg. I've always had bad mpg compared to others in this car, but this is seriously irking me - I thought it was my using the Blitz TC that was affecting my mileage with the KWSC, but even with it off, I only got 100 miles to the 1/2 tank, and I'm only at 135 miles 1/3 of the way down till empty (I got 120-140 with Blitz TC on SP3 on my NA setup by 1/2 tank).
Any idea what could be causing this drastic mpg drop? I got an average 28mpg driving the way I am right now with the KWSC w/o using the Blitz TC on my NA setup.
And before anyone says so - no, this isn't because of how I drive. As I've stated, I drove the car hard on my NA setup and got better fuel economy than what I'm getting right now driving the car much easier w/o the Blitz TC.
A little more info: I changed my oil (Mobil 1 synthetic) and transmission fluid right after I got the KWSC installed. Tires are at 45 psi. I weigh 160 lbs. Spark plugs were changed to 1 step colder NGK plugs.
Just re-installed my stock header. Does anyone running the KWSC w/ stock header have any issues with the heat shield rubbing against the intake tube / rubber connector on the supercharger? Mine is currently rubbing one edge along the rubber elbow that connects to the supercharger. It's also rubbing against the tubing itself, resulting in some loud creaking of the heat shield when the car moves around alot from a bump or sudden acceleration - not sure if this is going to be an issue.
Some observations from driving around: MUCH better torque in the low end compared to the WeaponR Street header. Suddenly driving around takes less effort and feels smoother. Sound is louder, but fuller - there's more of a "booming" quality to it.
If anyone has WeaponR street header and looking to get the KWSC kit, I'd recommend switching back to stock or to a 4-1 header before doing so.
Oscar Sr. explained to me what happened when he put on a pulley on a dyno motor... thats all that was needed for me to stay away.
i found this in a really old thread. i was going to buy UR pulleys then i read this. can someone tell me what happened. maybe jdmchris. it was your old post
thank you

PM me if you need your KWSC kit installed (SoCAL only)

So it was the exhaust that was causing the problem all the time. I am glad you were able to get it straitened out. That is what your problem sounded like to me.... I am hoping to finish my installation this evening, or early tomorrow.

Well it fixed the lack of low end power I was experiencing, but it hasn't helped with my cripplingly bad MPG. I just drove around and got 45 miles, filled up 2.8 gallons. that's 15-16mpg and driving in a manner that got me 28mpg NA. Something is definitely not right here.
on base kit with upgraded injectors my best tank was 41mpg. Even with the high boost im getting about 32. If i drive it really hard, ill get about 20.
No idea what's going on with my car right now. I tried a bottle of STP fuel injection cleaner and going to see how that works out. So far I've gone 25 miles and the fuel gauge hasn't moved yet, but who knows, it might suddenly dip 1/4" out of the blue like it is prone to doing.
So I took the car on the freeway with the stock header on, and noticed something strange: when I hit around 4.5k rpm in 4th gear, the rpm will suddenly dip down to 4k although I haven't changed the throttle at all. I tried on gears 1-3, going up to 5k, but they don't suffer the same dip in rpm - only gear 4 (and possibly 5, haven't tested it). Anyone know what's going on? Fouled spark plug?
Really? I've never had this happen to me when I was running the WeaponR street header. I don't recall how the car felt NA with stock header, so can't say how it was back then. Does anyone with KWSC + stock header have this happen to them?
