At least that's what i found out today with my AEM data logs. At 6300 rpms i was at 25.2 psia. I think it might go up to 12 psi possible cause i have to tweak the bov.
Initial impressions: much better than 5psi. I'm hitting 5psi at 3500 rpms. I've been treading very lightly on the throttle but did open her up once today while logging just to see.
So how is this possible? Well for starters i sent my manual sc unit in for the upgrade. I was debating on whether to keep the update as is or try and remove the insert and go balls out. I wasn't really sure which way to go until i got the unit back and looked at the insert. I figured if i was going to damage the insert by removing it i would just leave it in and be done with it. But it seems fate was on my side because the bonding material that was used was insufficient. I slightly pulled on it and it popped right out.
So then the fun began: RC 310cc injectors, WR manifold, AEM F/IC, and Boomslang custom harness so i did not have to spend time screwing with the ECM harness which would have been a nightmare for me.
I was skeptical at first about the F/IC because i read that alot of people loved it or hated it. Luckily guanalang already wired it up on his Fit a while ago so i had a good idea it would work. Everything has gone well so far(keeping my finger crossed).
In closed loop i am right around stoich. open loop currently at 12.5 on the A/F gauge. Have to tweak my maps cause i think i can do better. Unfortunately I wont be getting on the dyno anytime soon cause i am tapped out.
I'll post up some pics tomorrow once i tidy up the engine bay a little.

wow. that sounds pretty awesome. i cant wait to see the pictures.
i love the weapon r intake. it seems to add quite abit of go to the car but this is probably a placebo cause of the cool noise. i have no dyno proof to back up my statement.

I had a theory all along that the manifold mixed with FI would produce better results, it does allow a lot more air into the engine, but with N/A it is hard to take advantage of that.

Very nice! Love the setup, the manifold looks sick inside the supercharger tubing!
No more super-card then right?
Yeah no more supercard. It was a practical solution and did the job but being able to adjust fuel across the entire rpm range as well as pull timing is always nice.
Congrats! Maybe you won't be so grumpy with your Kraftwerks kit now eh?
Thanks. I was always pleased with the kit over stock but wanted more oomph. The kraftsmanship is top shelf imo and the support from Oscar this past year has been phenominal.

you know I know a guy selling a KWSC locally man!

So did the AEM F/IC replace the supercard? Hows the A/T tranny holding up? Did you have to also get a new pulley to get 10psi?
Im still pretty new to all this kind of stuff, in the past engine mods for me consisted of intake and exhaust. I love my Supercharger right now even at 5psi. I do want to eventually bump it up to 8 or even 10psi down the road. So the more info I can get the better.
wow looks good. which route would you recommend? hondata or another fuel management (AEM, GREDDY)?
I would always go with hondata but they will probably never come out with the A/T reflash. But i am pleased with the AEM unit. I picked it over Greddy because it seemed easier to use imo and it has the ability to alter the o2 signal to compensate for closed loop boost.

yes it replaces the supercard. If you have an A/T then i don't know if the rotrex unit will hold 10psi as it is a smaller unit. I have the M/T unit in my A/T so I was able to pull it off. The tranny and engine are fine so far. No CEL, no tranny slip. Although I have not done any runs from a dead stop just on the highway when i am already doing 60mph or so. Still a little cautious as i am still tweaking. I will have to bump up my oil and tranny fluid changes though.

Thanks! tuning is going slow. I am being overly cautious as i don't want to f--k anything up. I really need to have it dyno tuned but i am all out of dough. Not really sure how to mess with the o2 map but nice to know it is there when i can take it or when someone with more experience figures it out (hint hint).
