This sucks, I'm having alot of trouble finding anyone who can install it in a day. Everyone's giving estimates of 3-4 days, which I can't do because I need the car. Does anyone know any mechanics they can recommend for this type of work and timeframe I'm looking for (finish within a day, or around 8 hours if stating by the KWSC manual)?

If you're hurting that bad, have you tried asking Kraftwerks? Every now and then I hear about them doing installs. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Give 'em a ring and see what's going on.
Yeah, I tried asking KW regarding installation and they said they would need 3-4 days as well since they're booked with projects and other things (not to mention they're backed up for a while). If I have to I'll end up getting a rental car for a few days but for now I'm just trying to see if any competent mechanics/shops are out there in Socal that can work on my car for a full day and get it done the same day. So far it doesn't seem like I'll be able to find what I need though.

I cant guaranty the same will happen for you but when I dropped my car off, the shop quoted me 3-4 days as well. I questioned them about it and it sounded like there just giving a very genurse time frame so there not rushed. Sure enough the very next morning I got a call saying my car was done.
Dyno of a stock Fit w/ AT KWSC is 110hp, up from around 83-84hp. Also note that it hits peak HP earlier with the KWSC by a few hundred rpm.
The kit only gives 25 HP? Those of you with the supercharged A/T, how does the tranny hold up with the extra stress of the Supercharger. Will it still last as long?
I don't think anyone's had the AT supercharger long enough (hasn't been out very long) to know the long term effects it will have. However, consider that KW put the smaller rotrex unit in the AT package and that this kit is designed to be car-friendly, not designed for maximum power.
I recall JDMChris saying something along the lines of how 25hp in the AT is comparable to around 35hp of the MT. In any case, it's an increase of around 30% from stock peak HP, and ~35% increase from stock peak torque - all while maintaining a DD-quality to the car with as little effect to engine/transmission life as possible. Being Carb Pending is a big factor for me in any case as I'm in CA and need to keep it street legal.
With my luck at my local stealership, it just might happen. Tell you the truth, that's the main reason I don't want to do any major performance upgrades. I'm afraid they'll make up something, anything to make me pay for any kind of repair. I bought the extended version that covers me to 100K bumper to bumper. I guess as long as I'm not beating on the car nothing should go wrong anyway.
