lighten flywhyeel and turbo/supercharged???

i was wondering if anyone has a lightened flywheel with there turbo/supercharger set up.

i heard that the lightened flywheel makes the performance of the turbo/supercharger worse. should i buy a lightened flywheel with a turbo setup? or should i just take the stock flywheel and shave several pounds off? does anyone know how much the stock flywheel weighs?

also i found this:
Quote:
Turbo cars are exceptionally critical to flywheel weight. Too light a flywheel will make the car rev faster and possibly come on boost faster but that is only half the issue. When you let off the gas to shift the car will drop off of boost just as quickly causing a poor transition when you come back on the throttle.

I had a shaved wheel on an old air cooled VW in the early 70s.... The engine was tweaked to the max and pulled very strongly but it did need to be moving a bit at partial throttle low speed starts in heavy traffic and RPM matching was critical when shifting if you didn't want to constantly be be thrown fore and aft..... Just taking your foot off of the throttle too fast in a moderate curve at high RPM was like applying the parking brake and would throw the ass end out..... I loved the hell out of it and one day hope to put a light clutch in my Fit..... If you have a radical cam, high compression and solid engine and tranny bolts the vibration will blur your vision and the car will resonate like the figures on an old time electric football game.
