nice! i think i paid something like that too on my GE's set.
so ive been driving the GK the last few days. i can't get the driving position quite right on this car.. driver seat feels like an airplane seatback with the back kind of caved in. not extremely comfortable, makes me feel bloated after a while. im not sure if the seat offers lumbar support or not (didnt check), but it just does not fit my body very well.
and i still can't like the AT... especially in congestion where im rolling around 15-35mph swiftly through traffic in variable speed using manual shift mode. being an MT driver, the slop in the drivetrain bothers me the most. the CVT is not horrible like the AT that was in my old GE's though.
MT is the only way to go on these smaller cars especially if one's into driving. You miss out so much with the AT.

forgot to mention... the husky liners in the GK did very well during the snow storm over the weekend.
the passenger side has not moved around either... maybe Husky revised the backing? not sure but no issue.
imho, i like it better than my Aries 3D as the Husky has tall grooves that channel water away from your shoes.
melted snow actually freezes over night here when you get in the car in the am.. with the aries you can slip and fall on ice ON the floor mat. lol

Have you tried the CVT in S mode? It approximates a stick shift better.

Yah, I was in S mode. I don't like the drivetrain slop. It's not terrible like the GE's AT though. The GK is my wife's car so it's fine.

got a screw stuck in the rear tire on my GE...
i took the wheel off the car and yanked out the screw from the tread.. luckily it did not go all the way through, and no air leak. wheew..
not that i can't plug it. waterless washed my car afterwards.

got the iphone6s pro-clip mounted on my GE. fed the cable at the top left corner of the HU bezel trim and ran the cable down to the cigarette lighter area where my charger is located. my HU has app-mode but didnt feel like doing the firmware update, getting the proper cables for it to work, etc. just for seeing things on the 5.8" screen when my iphone is right there next to it.
one thing to note on the pro-clip. the lightening connector is not aligned properly, off by as much as 0.7mm to the left.
i unscrewed the cable holder piece, cut off the left screw guide, placed iphone back in the cradle and tightened the cable holder piece down.
as long as the cable holder is slightly pointing to the left, no stress on the iphone.
also worked on my hobby cars yesterday, hardwired a usb charger for the iphone, etc.
had a good time.

note that only apple's lightening cable and the cable i noted above fit the proclip cradle dat ive tested.
i have other brand lightening cables, but they were too big for the holder.

that's cool. ive been away from home stereos and home theater for a while. i use to have a pretty elaborate system but lately i only watch videos through my computer and a clean 22" display, audio going through a sony mini component system. it's got the audio depth i want so haven't gotten back into surround sound.
in my music room i run a pair of yamaha HS80 nearfield monitors with primaacoustic recoil stabilizers. i run the source through a 31 band per channel dbx EQ as the audio is caliberated to the room mode. i have a pink noise generator and caliberator to tune it. the audio is fairly flat and clean. also pyramid acoustic dampers on the walls to prevent unwanted reflection it sounds very good for a halfarsed setup, but it's plenty for me.
