Airbag warning light
#3
Which airbag warning light? On my Fit there are three that might reasonably fit that description.
1. The "Passenger airbag off" light, which illuminates when there's some weight in the passenger seat but not enough to be a big enough person for the airbag to be safe. As a bachelor, it generally means I have a good bit of stuff stacked on the seat.
2. The "Side airbag off" light, which illuminates when a sensor at the side of the passenger seat thinks there's a person there (or when the seat is damp from accidentally leaving the window open during a rainstorm).
3. The general airbag warning idiot light, which indicates some actual problem in the airbag system as detected by the control computers.
