Stereo and Speaker install 09

Hey, I just got a new 09 Fit Base.
I want to keep the stock stereo but install my speakers from my accord.
I have several Pioneer 300w that Im going to put in.

The sport has 7 speakers so does the base just have the wiring installed for them and attached to the stereo?

I also want to install a sub and amp. Those the stereo have a connector for an amp?

Finally those anyone have a guide or pdf for the 09 stereo removal?
I found some for the 08 but not the 09

trial and error, try and follow the 08 removal, look for screws, look for connectors from the AC going through the glove compartment.

Do them one at a time, do things slowly, there are most likely two screws deep inside the AC control unit from the underside that you wont be able to remove easily, will need a really long philips to remove.

Trial and error... enjoy =D

PS: Don't forget to make a DIY thread about it, you're gonna be the first.

I have a post in the general forums too. Posting here too for all the folks who need the info.

Should have know College Hills Honda would have had the answer all along. The instructions for adding the USB adaptor include instructions for removing the console. Enjoy!

Thanks for that link, would have been a total pain in the ass to get that dash apart otherwise.

I just got an '09 Silver Storm Fit Sport with Nav, have some equipment from my Jeep that I want to transfer. Thinking about taking out the spare tire and doing a sub in that spot.

Still waiting for Crutchfiled to list the components for the 09 Fits...
