Question Powered sub tut?

I am clueless when it comes to car audio.
If you added a compact powered subwoofer to your car, could you please give me a step by step tutorial on how you did?
and how much it costed you would be nice to.
I am looking to put a 6.5 or 8" tube in the back of my car.
Just a little more bass than the stock speakers.

if you know nothing about car audio, id be very hesitant about doing things yourself on a brand new car. but if u are rather handy, its really nothing u cant handle. theres a few wires, and how u wire them is really up to you.

from amp:

power wire - this goes from the battery and has a fuse in-line.

ground - this goes to any reasonable ground sorce from the

rca wires - this sends the signal to the subs when to hit. these go into the back of the cd player. if you have the stock headunit, you can tap into the back speakers.

remote wire - this tells the amp when to turn on. theres a spot for it on an aftermarket cd player, if not tap it into an accessory switch or anything that gets power only when the car turns on.

speaker wire - goes from the amp to the speakers.

thats pretty much it. you can run the wires down the side of the car under that panel. to get through the firewall, you can pop out one of those rubber grommets and slide the wire in there as well.
