Sub question!

Has anyone looked into installing something like this...

Amazon.com: Boss Audio BASS600 8-Inch Low-Profile Amplified Subwoofer (Single): Electronics

...into a fit?

would be interesting to see.

don't know about the dimensions under our seats (both GD and GE) but would this even work?

I've seen the 10in in the spare tire well, but i personally didn't like the fact that you could see the actual sub and the cover made it a little less practical as far as moving/loading/breaking/throwing as i am want to do since it was visible.

anyone tried this and/or something similar?

If you are looking for anything close to decent sound (or even adequate sound for that matter), stay away from boss audio. It's like the can of beer labeled... BEER! You are better off saving the money from that and putting it into something like an infinity Basslink (not as slim but definitely 100x better for about 2x the price)
