KENWOOD P-NAV6019 -or- Pioneer AVIC-Z1

Not sure which one I should get for the car.... Wants Avic-Z1, but can't seem to make sense why I need to pay for su much if KENWOOD P-NAV6019 is easily an alternative. How about the Avic-D1? Any Advice??

This just goes on and on

I don;t read mapps and I don't know mapquest.com or the like

If you just want nav, and have a laptop, get a gps receiver with trip software for like $80.

Not as cool, obviously not integrated, but does the job - with audio turn by turn directions, on the fly trip planning and the like... I do this for work as I'm on the road a lot and refuse to spend 2 grand on a headunit...

Even if you don't have a laptop, you could buy a low end cheap one, plus a receiver and still be half the price of most units on the market ;p

nav or sound

Are you installing it for the nav ability or to upgrade your system? I don't need nav so I'm looking at the Pioneer 6800 series with on board car diagnostics module, gives you mpg, est. horsepower, torque, onscreen simulated handling graphics. ( its pimpin )
I think its only about $1300

Am I missing something, or dont we have to wait for a dash kit. Does such a thing exist, or have missed out on something. I will not do custom for $10 million.
