can you still fold the seats forward without removing the sub? and does the seat sit flat like it should?

bass in the Fit

Or what I call hypersonic booster module..Added Bass to factory stereo..

This unit will slide forward or I can disconnect and remove (warning for serious bass heads only) felt pads will keep the license plate from rattling now if I can only keep my teeth in.

yes .. the seat still can fold forward without removing the sub .. the way you looking at it, i think it's because the subwoofer is sit on top of the mat ..
i don't want to removing / cut the middle part of mat so happy enough with the current position

how do the seats fold flat because i checked it up on my fit and the middle seat sits flat on the floor so it dont look like the seats will flatten out.

On another notion, i am building a custom enclosure for one 10" sub under the floorboard inside the spare tire itself so it doesn't have to be removed. Once i am completed i will post it up and maybe even sell a couple of em cuz i am very good w/ fiberglass.

id like to get a box made that sits where a passenger's feat are.. and you should still be able to fold the seats down and lock em in place.. only inpeedance would be the passenger's feet would be on the box but it would be covered with plexie glass..

you do know that there is metal between the carpet and the gas tank and the gas tank is hung from the undercariage (couple mm's) right? Nothing should interfere w/ that.

Yeah, don't worry about heat causing an issue. Hell, the Mythbusters made a tank into swiss cheese with bullets and it wouldn't ignite... I wouldn't worry about an amp or subwoofer

OEM subwoofer

I have to admit, one of my favorite hobbies lately is seeing what accessories Honda sells on Fits around the world.

They have crazy accessories in Europe! Here's the catalog from Ireland.

On the fourth page, there's a listing for a tiny little subwoofer. (kinda cute actually). Does anyone know where the OEM subwoofer is installed? Anyone here from Ireland?

Just curious... I'm also curious about their ice box... tailgateFit!

There's more than enough space for an 8" or 10" sub behind the right rear trim panel. Another option is in the area in front of the tail light access panels... which is what I'm thinking these days.
