Fray Adjacent will become famous soon enough
Sure, why not? I knew a guy that used a small box with a micro ATX board and a DVD drive fit into his glovebox. Had it running off of a 7" LCD that folded into his dash.

I had thought of doing something like that. It's feasible. I'd build a micro ATX computer with a decent hard drive into an ammo can and wire it up to a small retractable LCD display, and mount a track ball somewhere abouts the shifter area, and use some kind of wireless keyboard arrangement. Then use a 802.11g wireless card to hop on my wireless network at home, download song and playlists from my computer inside. Possibly also use some sort of USB GPS receiver and software for navigation.

It's all very possible. If you have the $$ and time.
