LED Dome Light Questions

Hi all--

I've been searching through this section and through Google, trying to gleen as much as possible about ways to convert to an LED dome light in the Honda FIT. There appear to be many options available:

LED Dome Lights

Amazon.com: White HONDA Civic replacement interior dome light bulb upgrade LED dome light by Led 92-95 HONDA Civic High Intensity Super Bright Cube 9 LED 1.25 White Color Dome Light interior dome light light bulb upgrade: Automotive

High Power LED Festoon Bulb Specifications

Auto Indulgence

A&J Racing :: Interior :: Luxer 1 LED Room Light for Honda

Battle Endless Performance

Unfortunately, some of the dealers mentioned above have several choices and it is not clear which of these are best suited for the Honda FIT. It looks like most of this stuff is generic and might work in the FIT even though it is listed for the Civic. Does anybody know what dimensions work best? Thickness, for example, must be very important. Some of these choices offer foam backing and so does this have to be removed in order to fit in the FIT? And what about length and width. Do I go with the small or the large size? Flexible or rigid?

None of these points are clear, so I thought I would start yet another thread in the hopes of shedding some light on these lights.

Thanks

I'm using the T1R LED light from AJ racing, it's a bit pricey but it's a really great kit with plenty of socket adapters and sitcky pads to make it work in both the dome or trunk area. It is a really bright white light, 12 leds I think.

arsonall is on a distinguished road
^^^^same as above, works well in both lights. if any of the others are like the t1r, then they have multiple plugs for whatever kind of plug/light your car has.
