Yes. When you read this thread, you must've missed this.

On the web site they only sell the headlight and fog light together as a kit. Call them at 800-447-9928 and ask for the fog light only H0227 Yellow.

So I did this to my Fit but I'm not impressed with the yellow color at night. It's not yellow enough. I've used nokya yellow bulbs before and I like the color of them.
Has anyone used a yellow bulb along with the yellow film?
I know there's been talk but I want the opinion of someone who has tried it or I'll try it myself.

i've got the lamin-x yellow film on with nokya 3000k bulbs and IMO they seem a lot yellower ..the only thing that caused me concern is that i just started to notice that after having the fogs on for maybe 5-10 mins..the film gets really hot..ALMOST as if they were tacky..and then theres also this weird 'smoke' coming from it..=\ is anyone else having this problem?

it's called cheap plastic melting and burning away, you should consider better plastics or non laminated yellow caps for those fog lights...

well from wuts been said in this forum.. the Lamin-x films don't seem to be that "cheap" considering that this is specifically what it is produced for...but maybe i'm wrong...anyone else with their $0.02?

I have had no issues with my fog lights after putting the Lamin-X on.

I'll monitor them more closely now and report back if I see similar issues.

That's how they are supposed to be it doesn't get "tacky" but it is softer then normal. Better for you cuz u'll make the rocks bounce farther when they impact the fogs!

BigBadMadMan is an unknown quantity at this point
Ya, I just got a pair of the 3000K 80W bulbs and I'm worried about them getting too hot to do something like this. I think I'll just go with the bulbs themselves. I'm sure the smoke is just residue burning off. If they get brown or start to bubble in the middle, then they're melting.

4"x6" will easily cover one fog light. I was able to cover both of mine with Lamin-X's 4"x8" but I had very little room to spare.

So I put in yellow Nokyas and they're more yellow now. But they do say 80watts on the package and bulb even though they also say uses stock wattage. They aren't brighter. I'll post up if I have any problems. And some night time pictures.

bump for my question...
anyone check to see whether they notice any smoke after the fogs have been turned on for a while with the lamin-x attached to the lens?

No problems here but I don't turn them on if it's not cool and rainy out.

After my last use, I did not notice any smoke. I also did not notice any discoloration that would indicate burning or melting.

I currently use the stock bulb.
