Anyone Purchase an HID kit for Sport Fogs?? Warning Inside...

Yah, I did purchase a kit, what was called "plug and play," but they're an independent company hailing overseas... so it wasn't true plug/play, since the power supply cords are fitted with only electrical tabs and not with the plug to tap back into the electrical cable that supplied the original H11 bulbs. grrr...

But listen, all, if you are considering the switch to HID bulbs, you must consider looking for an HID bulb that has a cap to block front light from being thrown (the same kind of reason why the H11 bulbs have an opaque cap on them). As I fitted the HID bulbs into the lens housing, I realized that HID light will blow directly out from the fog lamp housing. Although I have yet to completely install the HID's (buy a yellow bulb instead of regular colors), I can see that glare will more than likely be a problem with HID foglamps since the Honda fogs don't have a cap to block light glare from oncoming traffic.

There is a metal tab that blocks light inside the housing. Problem: the tab is installed before the lens was sealed by glue. So be forewarned. If you get em instead, you'll see what I mean.

I have yellow HID's in my fog light locations.

Have yet to have a problem with anyone brighting me. They sit pretty low on the car so that could be why.

Just get the OEM fogs from your dealer, they should be very able to get them for you.
