LED Upgrade
Hi
After owing the Fit for 18 months, I've finally gotten off my lazy butt and looked through the bulb sizes chart in this forum.
I wanted to change the parker, reverse and the cup holder lights to LEDs simply because they are cooler, literally.
First thing:
I got out my phone and took some before and after shots. Including the physical differences between the bulb sizes.
This way I can actually see the improvements(if any).
I got all my LEDs from Superbrightleds.com simply because they had a large range.
When I previously bought my interior and licence plate bulbs, they were excellent quality as well. SBL might not be the cheapest around but I figured "buy right and buy once".
The 2 types I bought were:
Parker and reverse bulbs:
194 LED Bulb - 10 SMD LED Wedge Base Tower with Projector Lens Cool White
194 LED Bulb - 10 SMD LED Wedge Base Tower with Projector Lens | Wedge Bulbs | Specialty & Automotive | Universal LED Bulb Finder | Super Bright LEDs | Super Bright LEDs
Cup holder light:
74 LED Bulb - 3 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base Cool White
74 LED Bulb - 3 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base | Wedge Bulbs | Specialty & Automotive | Universal LED Bulb Finder | Super Bright LEDs | Super Bright LEDs
Installation:
Just unplug and insert.
For the cup holder light, I had to dremel 0.5mm off the edge of the PCB where you insert as it was a fraction too wide.

Overall, very happy with the result.
The next project will be DRL and to change the shift gear illumination bulb.
