Window Tint Post your pics

Hey guys,

In my province you can only have %30 window tint. Can someone post a pic of a fit with %30 tint so i can see what it actually looks like on the car? Isn't %30 like... nothing... could you even tell?

Should i just go --> 2 front peeps (%15), nothing on the drivers and passagers, rear windows (%25), rear peeps (%25), and hatch window (%25)? would that look dumb?

Cheers,

i have 35% all around in the fit. the truck is 20%. you can see easily through the fit windows at night and obviously daytime pics. some angles it looks darker but it's not very dark. I don't like the staggered tint look myself.

50%

Here is what 50% all around looks like for those who want some UV protection but don't want it too dark...

You realize that the auto glass itself blocks out most UV rays, and that the tint really doesn't add much in that regard, right?

Anyway, Jersey state law prohibits ANY tint on the front side windows or windshield, but any level on the back windows.

with the exception of reflective/ mirrored tint, which is completely illegal anywhere on the vehicle.

50% all around doesn't look to bad.

Does anyone have a 35%/50% combo. I am able to get the back darker but do not want an obvious difference between the front and back door.

I've got 5% limo all around and 35% on the windshield, I love it, and it a necessity in Las Vegas with 120 peak temps in the summer.

nice windshield tint? Damn that's illegal in KS. 35% around is the lowest too, but I have 20% on my teg.

Massachusetts has max 35% on windows and you can only do the top of the windshield... yet I see many people that definitely have 20 and 5 percent. I wonder how they pull that off.

I'm scheduling a tint for my fit this week. I'll put up the pics of the end result. I am shooting for the "best quality" tint money can buy.

Ya, Illegal here in Missouri too. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised that it ISN'T illegal in Tenn. ESPECIALLY Memphis! haha

Speaking of "best quality", which one would that be and what defines "quality" in relation to tint?

I take that back...just checked the laws for Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi (all Memphis metro) and none of them allow windshield tint....sooooooo get pulled over and you're scrapin that crap off. lol Better be careful!

I just checked and apparently our Missouri laws recently changed...I get 35% film on the driver and front passenger window, and ANY level of tint behind that. A strip on the windshield is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line. Yay for me!
