Leather Interior and Sunroof

Did they tell you how the sun roof will affect the integrity of the car. It's gotta weaken the car. Did they add some reinforcement beams in the roof?

It's great to know that many others have done leather in their Fit's. Looks like Katzkin is a good way to go. I will probably be doing this in the future, and after reading this thread I think doing the sunroof, and the leather at the same time, from the same installer might save me some $$$.

The leather looks great, so if its something you want and can afford, go for it. I wanted a dk. orange stitching for mine but they didn't have anything but bright orange available, so I passed on that idea and just did all black.
I knew I was keeping this car long term so, I figured I'd do it right. I want a sunroof installed as well as couple of other small mods, but it will all have to wait for now as I seemingly live in a money pit of a house that is taking all my money lately.
I so want that sunroof tho.

where did the seats / covers come from?

Did you DIY or have them done?

Are they more comfortable than the cloth?

Thanks, DragonRail -the leather was done custom through the dealer at the time of my purchase as part of my package. They did the whole interior, door panels etc.

Its really a matter of preference- I think they are very comfortable and like them waay better than the stock cloth that was there. Very easy to keep clean as well.

2k sounds like a good price...as i was quoted $1300 for just the sun roof .....
