installed my dead pedal, keyless entry and armrest console today

I ordered my armrest console from college hills a couple of months ago, when they had that order of 100 and its been stting around waiting for me to install it, so I installed the rest of the college hills accessories that I have had also: keyless entry, rear sill protector, floor mat holddowns.

the first thing I did was remove the front seat. I had too much stuff going in to mess around with gymnastics, the keyless entry went in first. I had to undo the top and bottom bolt to get my hand around the back of the fuse box, though once I was back there I felt around for the connector, ripped off a little of the tape that held it in place and verified that it was blue, then connected the plug by feel.

Since the side kick panel was removed for the ground wire, I installd my Zeta dead pedal...man, this thing Rocks! Make sure you push the pedal down while screwing it in, it looks twisted, but it installs fine.

Next the console...you should probably order a couple of the press in plastic cap/pins for the front, I broke mine and I dont see how anyone can avoid it. I reused my lighter socket, the new armrest came with one, so now I may install the extra on in the rear.. The console installed perfectly well..just follow the instructions.

The rear deck applique went down fine....if you get it you will probably think you got ripped off until you install it. Looks better installed than in the package.

I have to say the combination of the dead pedal and the armrest *really* improves the driving comfort.

Hi - I also installed the Honda OEM keyless entry in my Base M/T yesterday in about 20 minutes. It's literally plug-and-play, just follow the instructions, and save about $120 in labor charges.

There is no need to break the pins. just push the center in and then "reset" the pin to reuse them. See this video from College Hills Honda, near the end they show how to deal with the pins without breaking them. http://www.diyhonda.com/podcasts/episode19.wmv
