i guess it all depends on the wiring and the car...10watts might make or break it.
kinda like how they have the max wattage bulb ratings on some light sockets for home appliances? 25watt max for example...if you put a 30 watt bulb, there might be big trouble in lil China....o.O

I have PIAA Extreme WHite Plus.
They look pretty nice..but obviously with the blue coating you're going to lose a little bit of output. I just like the look.
do yellow blubs look yellow enough? I want yellow fogs but am hesitent about putting Lamin-X or some other kind of film over the Fogs...
Piaa Xtreme force H4 & H11 (4700k) output closed to HID system. Install H7 in my CBR600RR nice & bright white. I'm getting piaa for my Fit. will post photo soon.
sorry, but that one made me crack up. It's nothing close to HID.

I went to my owner's manual and on p. 186 it describes how to replace the bulb and in the back they tell me that the bulb is a 60/55w but what size is it?
"Its also in your owners manual. Page 233.
HB2/9003/H4."
Thanks, I saw the HB2 designation, but was unaware, before you pointed it out, that HB2 represented an other way of saying 9003. Apparently 9003 & HB2 are DOT approved and H4 may not be DOT approved, but they all have the same mounting plug. Very interesting. I'll have to look more carefully at the headlight blubs to find one designated HB2.
Never realized that there are so many different names for similar blubs. I have been using "Power Plus H4" in my motorcycle, because it appears to improve my night vision over the stock H4 blub.
Now I have to decide if I want keep the Fit's blubs DOT approved.
I got the lights and started to install the drivers side lamp as directed by the owners manual.
First problem slick goo (dielectric grease)
Second problem small space Big hands
Third how in the @#$ do you get the &*%$ weather boot off, it seems like it is welded to the lamp assembly.
PLEASE let me know the tricks you all used to get the boot off .
Thanks for any input.
They are not HID they xenon quartz bulbs oem replacement style

My boots were stuck, I had to pull real hard with a pair of pliers to get them off.
Also the boots have 2 tabs for pulling on.
Check out the owners manual, page 187.
To those who have replaced their headlights, I have a question. To get the headlight, do I just have to remove the holding clip and then pull back the inner fender or is there more to remove before attempting to pull back the inner fender? I tried what the manual tells you to do and I just couldn't get to the headlight.
Suggestions?
alright. first off, start w/ the driver side. Go turn ur steering wheel all the way to the RIGHT so you have more clearance under the wheel well. then go and remove the bolt that holds the inner fender to the bottom portion of the bumper. then just pull back the inner fender lining until you can reach the bulb. Don't be scared, just yank on that thing it's meant to take abuse. The headlight is not hard to get to, its the turn signal that is hard 2 reach! =) For the pass, side, just turn the steering wheel all the way to the LEFT.
btw what are u doing HID'S or just replacing the bulb. If you are installing the hid's i would recommend removing the bumper and headlights and working w/ all the wiring and mounting of the balast n stuff. If you are only doing a bulb replacement, just do the method above.
The stock headlight has very clear cutoff. So I'm wondering why according to some that HID kit shoots light everywhere. People with HID kit can you post some pictures of light spread?
