Got two sheets of clear 3m 40mil 4x6 from xpel.com for ~$10 shipped. Just came today, so I'm going to follow your instructions and get 'em installed ASAP! Even came with a plastic squeege in the box!

Well, I installed the films and your instructions worked perfectly! The Xpel instructions said it's easier to install the film when it's warm, so I left the lights and the films in the sun for 10 minutes before I installed 'em.
I already noticed a small ding in the light when installing, so I'm glad they're on now.

im glad u liked my instructions.
Why not? i mean it's better if you get some protectino and the lens bein cracked rather then having the inside of the housing rust from water/condensation in. Also, it won't be as noticeable if it has the lamin-x on it.

I have about 10k on my Fit now and I can't believe how much stuff has been hit on the front spoiler on highways around here in urban Toronto. Adding the film to the fog lights is cheap insurance and easy to do. Recommend highly!

I did get the whole ventureshield clear bra from my friend, but he doesn't have the thick yellow stuff for the foglights. Just picked up a square foot for $8 at another tint shop for fog lights...nice and thick Can't wait to get off work and get my foggies done!
Still kinda pissed about the paint on the bumper situation, they might not pay for my ventureshield for my front bumper...if they don't I'm gonna be mega pissed and they won't hear the end of it.

Followed instructions posted on page 1, great write up, did it in no time, looks great! One thing though, I found that the bulbs were hard to twist out when connected to the harness...I suggest you remove the harness from the bulb to remove the housing...much easier to do...just push the harness clip inwards and it slides right out

Just installed fogs on my ride today so next step will be making them yellow. Great write up.

Found yellow headlight film as well. I am gonna order both shortly. The film is pre-cut but it should be fun getting it to wrap around the headlights.

I only used half of the square foot I got to cover both of the fog lights and then some. I made sure it was much bigger than the foglight, then trimmed about a 2-3mm border around the ellipse. I then cut small slits all the way around the film so I could fold it over the edge and wrap it all the way around.

I was talking about the headlights...not the fogs. I already have 2 chips in them stickercity.com has yellow headlight film that is pre-cut for the headlights. Unfortunately the kit does not come with film for the fogs but i will also order a small sheet and cut it to fit.

Thx. Just curious...your website does not have a Fit as one of the selected cars for Honda parts.
