It's weird how a lot of people in FitFreak dislike Tidewater, they're all gaga over the Tafetta White (don't get me wrong, its a good color)...but not to the extent that they build it up to be, imo.
Looking quite nice! I was afraid of red badges but it looks really nice, I also wanted smoked tails like you as well! Your car is edgy but it passes as nice in my book! You need to lower it and then it'll pull together even better!
I love the color. Proud new owner. Traded in our '04 MDX for this thing. I gotta say not nearly as comfortable, but what would you expect? Overall, very happy with our decision.

Thanks!!! I have the springs, just need time to lower it...
I think it looks good in lighter colors, but then again, I'm biased.
I own a Lunar Mist and someone in my area owns a Tidewater. We wound up next to each other at a stoplight once and I did a double take at first thinking "How'd they get Lunar Mist on a Sport model???" There's a purplish tint to the Tidewater though, whereas Lunar Mist is very much a baby blue. Sure, it's kinda girly, but I am a girl.
Here is an example! Found this Lunar Mist on my 'first day out'. I posted these elsewhere on this website, but here they are again. This was on a rainy day, and the purple in the TWB doesn't show up properly.
So, wait, the '09 blue color is called "Lunar Mist?" I hadn't heard it called that before! But you can sure see a big difference in the color in these photos - nice work!
I would say there is more purple in the '09 color, just b/c the TWB looks more aqua or turquoise, but I've not looked at one closely.

I think it's backwards of what you said. The 2009 is called Tidewater Blue Metallic. And someone in another forum said the other car I parked next to was a 2007 Lunar Mist. And yes, there is a lot of difference in the colors. The 2009 has a lot of purple but I haven't been able to photograph it just right yet.
I see the transport truck behind your car - and all those other cars next to you - where did you have your car shipped from? The IKEA parking lot makes a great off-load spot. And not a bad background...
I think I like the '09 in TWB! Yours looks nice and cozy in the garage.
My car is TWB. We went to one dealership and they said it was so similar to the Storm Silver, that it was hard to tell them apart unless they were side-by-side.
We went to another dealership and ordered the car. It came in and they wouldn't let me pick it up without my husband, so it had to wait till afterwork.
At dusk, the car looked lavendar. I told my husband I couldn't drive a purple car--they also had received an OR in that was unspoken for. I wanted to switch. Husband said just to take it since we had already signed all paperwork.
The OR is a great color in person, I loved it. But, the TWB has grown on me. It doesn't look lavendar most of the time. Most people thinks it looks light blue. Plus, in the light, the light blue looks even lighter with the pearl.
In the end, I like the color.
On a slightly related note, I would never buy this car in white. I saw one on the road the other day and it made it look fat, like obese. It really did look more like a mini-van.

That was just a local car meet. I'm a pretty active car guy, and met some of my civic friends there. We like that spot because the parking lot is so big, it will accomodate all of us without being bothered.
Just got the car about 4 weeks ago...here is pictures from 10-24-08 Bay Area Fitfreak.net meet in Fremont:
