I cleaned mine and thats it. Found a random rag in the garage and hoped it didnt have oil on it. Only reason why I used a white base coat is because the orange I used recommended it for the FULL sex effect
The first coat spray it high and create over spray. This will prevent running and will basically be a base coat/primer. Then add more coats till the color has covered fully.
Thanks for the compliment guys. At first i did cover the vtec sign for the green paint and was originally going to leave it like that so I took off the tape. I was just too lazy to tape it back up when I decided to do the paint splater.

I'm wanting to do some straight lines across the top of the cover but the I'm thinking there's no way that I'm going to be able to do it with the bumps!
thatd be super simple, spray on the first color, let it dry, then use blue tape or even masking tape to mark off the different lines, repaint new color, let dry, remove tape and wala!
