Just Got a Fit Today!
I just got a 2008 VBP Fit Sport in 5 Speed today! I got a few extras from the dealer such as wheel locks and the plastic stuff on the doors to protect them from scratches. I noticed i didnt get any carpet pad things? Are those extra and did anyone get them?

Well im pretty happy with my buy, ill post some pics and hope to mod soon!

They are all eatra at the dealer but pretty nice/durable/ deep all weather mats. But they jack you on the price. I fund them to be much cheaper on-line but my dealer matched the price for mats and that black applique thing on the back sill.

Welcome to the family, congrats on the VBP. You got a great deal. By carpet pad things, I assume you are talking about floor pads? I went to meijer and got some basics for $30. I can't justify the cost for having a Honda logo on something that will only be seen by my feet.

Just picked up my fit yesterday! 2008 Vivid Blue Pearl Sport 5 Speed. Mods to come soon.









Got it with 3 miles, now has like 40...lol

I loved my RSX Type S, sold it because milage was getting high and my parents wanted me to buy a newer, more reliable car. The power is a lot weaker in the fit, but i didnt buy it for the HP...I miss the RSXs engine, but am getting used to the fit's...My view is, if you love driving like me, the fit is just as fun as the RSX but just slower vehical.

BTW I love the front end of the Fit, thats what sold me the car even more. It reminded me of my RSX and I love the headlights.

Yupp i agree. It isnt fast but if you know how to drive the fit is as fun as anything.
What mods do you have planned?

I know of a super tint place here in San Ramon that did my car and my moms new xD. He does a great job at a reasonable price, plus a free 100% lifetime guarantee. Its called "WindowTintWorkz". If you need more info hit me up with PM, i have the phone number and all that.

I'm making my first post here .. and your story caught my eye. My RSX-S was stolen last week, and recovered.. but when its fixed I will be getting rid of it for a new Fit. Too much hassle man. Anyways, the Fit front end reminds me of the RSX as well. I am afraid I will miss the raw feel and hp of the RSX, but its good to know that the Fit is fun to drive. Hopefully I'll be buying one soon.

Yea man i miss the RSX hp, but the fits front makes me happy everytime i see it, and its handling is great!
