i'm happy to hear that you liked the j's setup, thanks for being the guinea pig ...i always feel better about stuff when people you respect have good thing to say about it.
has the ride quality improved? over your 'just springs' set up? the drop is nice, not as low as the eibachs, but just enough to where the gap you have is great.
It never does No worries, I've been the guinea pig for a lot of things, glad this one turned out haha! AFAIK, it was the last set Ben had in stock Honoured you respect my opinion!
Ride quality has improved over the springs only setup. With matching struts and springs, the ride is less bumpy, a lot more smooth, and handles much better. I also installed the T1R Front Sway Bar at the same time, but I think they match up very well together. Very little body roll now, the Fit turns on a dime and absorbs most abnormalities on the road. It is much more comfortable IMO. Really liking the drop too, it's at a really good height, not to high like stock, not too low that I'll scrape everything in site (had enough of that). Leaves a nice, even gap all the way around!

Give AJ a call and talk to Ben. Tell him I sent you and he will hook you up. It will be ~$200 to $250 for the pod if I remember correctly. It's pricey, but well worth it as it fits perfectly and holds three 60mm gauges perfectly!
I know who's car mine wants to be when it grow up... your car is def. my car's new role model!

Whoa, I'm honoured Rob! Thanks!

they were the SPL CRUX for $3,800 or something crazy like that?
is this the same setup you're running in the vbp or is there a cheaper version of j's coilovers?
thanks,

Hey Ricky, the J's/Showa suspension are just springs and struts. They are JDM and I got them from AJ Racing. You can find them on the J's Racing website. Not sure if Ben has any left in stock, but give him a shout, he will know what you are talking about if you mention me. These struts/springs are not adjustable in any way (height or dampening). It is preset, but Showa's shocks are excellent! Should be under $1000 for the set.
