My BAP colored Jazz and my mods
Yezz!
Finaly parts have arrived, and today the modifications starts.
First off is painting the motor cover or whatever the little cover on top of the engine is called...
The part I have bought was a Mugen front grille, Tail gate garnish, Mugen door sills and new set of tail lights; "Euro style" by Altezza.
The tail lights look like this:
Dry fitting the Mugen front grille:
Dry fitting the Tail gate garnish:
The mugen grille and the tail gate garnish is in a painting shop in town and is done in a few days. But the motor cover I'm painting myself today, because it is a small part and easy to do. All these thre items is going to be in the same color as the car ofcourse; Black Amethyst Pearl (RP-37P).
I ran into some problem with the tail lights, but I hope I can fix that in the following week.
Today I will also mount the Mugen door sills.
Now I go out and see if there will be a sixth layer of paint or if I can start with the clear paint now...
More pictures will come later.

Hey Fonix
Long time, how you doing?
I see your baby is coming along nicely, some nice mods you got going there, cant wait to see when everything is on.
I also just recently replaced my backlights with the smoked LED ones, love them to bits.
Im also looking to colour code my engine bay, Im just battling to find the right purple paint for my engine cover.

Well here we go!
All the parts have arrived and the grill and the tail gate garnish is painted.
Here is a few photos from the mods:
Mugen door under garnish. Or door step protections (also mounted under the other three doors).
Yes I know, I have not washed the car inside yet on this picture.
Orgnal tail lights and dry fitting the new painted tail gate garnish. Looking good?
The new front Mugen style grill mounted. It did not fit perfectly, had to use some double sided tape around the edges to get it to stick better to the front bumper.
New Altezza European style tail lights mounted.
More pictures found here. There you can see the rear bumber removed and other pictures of my Jazz.
I have also tried a new wax on the car. It is applied to the car on all above images. It is the AutoGlym High Definition Wax.
The wax was easy to apply with one of the two damp small sponges that came in the box. And it was also easy to buff with the red micro fiber cloth that also came in the box. The finishing product was nice too. Close to mirror finish. But it was a bit expencive and I dont think I will buy more of this wax, since AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection give almost the same nice result as this wax. Well probably the wax is a bit better, but it has to be for that price. Cost about 750NOK (140US$) here in Norway. Probably cheaper in the US.
Luckily the set with wax probably last for 5-6 layers of waxing for my car.
Edit: And had almost forgot to mention the new show license plates. It is not a photoedit. They are real license plates, but only for shows and are not allowed to drive with.

Actually I was not supposed to buy this wheels before next year. But the current front wheels was almost worn out and I had to buy new ones. And I have a birthday soon and I thought those wheels looks so good that I could not resist giving them to my self as a birthday gift
Here they are on the car:
The wheels are: Momo FXL-One
Size: 17" x 7" 42 inpress with 4x100 bolt circle.
Tires: Cooper Zeon 2SXH
Size: 205/40 R17
Closeup picture of wheel and tire:
As usual, more picture of the car and wheels and everything here.
As some my discover I'm missing the tail gate garnish on the last pictures. I had to take it of to paint it better. It is going back on tomorrow.
