My 08 SSM

Finally had a sunny day to take some pics of the mods I've been doing over the past couple of months.

Muteki blue lugs:

Luminics Krypton Pure Blue fogs:

Full frontal nudity (sure would be nice to see an intercooler in this shot):

aspec axel back:

Only interior mods:

Mods pending: Brembo slotted front rotors, Porterfield pads and shoes, ATE brake fluid.

Mods I'll probably do: HKS coilovers, CF rear wing, silver mesh in front grill to block rock damage, black out fogs.

Thanks.

Yes, took off front and rear "H"'s and painted the background (had to buy new OEM replacements as I couldn't get them off without breaking the pins). I wanted to see a some blue accent from all angles. I like it pretty well though I'm sure some will object.

Yea, I probably would've gotten the vinyl decals had I known they were available berforehand. Paint looks pretty decent though and I'm not sure they have anything for the front anyway.

You should get some optical blue lamin-x for your foglights. It might look cool and match some of your other mods. One 8 dollar sheet would be enough, just a thought...

I've seriously considered the blue lamin-x. The only thing holding me back is the several reports I've read around here of the vinyl burning. I don't have a bunch of free time and I don't want to have to keep redoing stuff.

Would look good though.

Thanks

Got the ebrake cover here: https://www.jhpusa.com/store/pc/view...idproduct=1756

These are Mugen leather pieces. I bought the shift boot from A-J Racing, but jhpusa had a very quick turnaround whereas AJR took forever (a Canada to southern US thing).

I've heard that too, but I've had my lamin-x on since june and no problems. I think as long as you leave the outside edges uncovered for the heat to escape, they won't burn. Anyway, nice work so far, I really like the shift knob + boot.
