Boost? - cancelled due to cost/practicality
Toyo Proxes T1R rubber, 195/55R15 - cancelled due to unavailability
Chassis stiffening 1: front strut tower bar - cancelled due to different priorities
Chassis stiffening 2: front 4-point under-brace - cancelled due to different priorities

Completed plans
Wheel downgrade: 15x6 +53 OEM GD wheels - obtained 04052010
Lightweight wheels: 15x6.5 +45 SSR Type M - obtained 09-2011

Future plans
Short-ram K&N intake? - still thinking if there are any meaningful gains

Yes they are bro, mostly Rotas and Concept Ones. That photo was taken at a local wheel and tire shop (quote obviously I guess).

Concept One is another rim maker based out of Taiwan; I'm not sure they sell their wares over there in the US.

Thanks accordguyintake and Vince.

The bumpers are actually mismatched, and I'm missing the side skirts as well. I might get the complete MMC VTEC bodykit later on, but it's not really a priority. I'll need to change fender liners to accommodate the whole kit, I've heard. Maybe the most I'll go for is the pre-MMC front chin, but that's kind of hard to find nowadays.

Here are a number of Jazzes with my missing MMC VTEC front bumper and skirts...they look much more aggressive than my "cute" front end. The one in the middle has the pre-MMC chin I'm talking about.

By the way MMC is the local Honda dealer jargon for "minor model change"---this happened in mid-2006 over here. By comparison, a FMC or "full model change" would be replacing the GD1/3 with the GE6/8.

Updating with photos from a recent trackday at Subic International Raceway (short course).
Clocked a 1:04...not bad for a total track newbie with a stock GD1.

Photos courtesy of a good friend of mine who has great skills with a DSLR.

Many thanks for the comments guys

Yeah, Chicane is definitely good ear candy. Can't find a copy of his newest album here though.

One more photo of a not-so-clean engine bay.
This is the twin-spark L13A3 i-DSI engine I run, bone stock since day one.
