Post Baby Stroller in Fit Cargo Space

Hi, this is my first post! I recently joined Fit Freak.net because my wife and I are considering buying the Fit LX. We are currently leasing a Toyota Echo Hatchback (lease ends in July) and we are expecting our first child this August, so the timing is perfect to change cars.

We test drove the Fit and we love it. But one concern we have is the ability to fit a baby stroller into the cargo area. So I was wondering if there are members here who can post a picture of their baby stroller in the Fit's cargo area, just so I have an idea what will or will not fit. Please mention what stroller you are using.

Thanks!

Thumbs up

Hello friend.I firstly congratulate as you are expecting baby in next few months.I think you are concerned about whether the pushchair fits in the cargo area.I suggest you to use Mickey Bungee Deluxe which fits easily in the Honda Fit LX.I have Honda CRV it fits easily in the boot space .I believe that Mickey Bungee Deluxe will definitely fit into the cargo space. If you are interested then visit the link given below.

I recently purchased a 2009 Honda Fit Sport Blackberry Pearl A/T
Brought it home and checked my Grandson's Stroller it fits laying flat or on its side with no problem loading through the hatch.
Hope you enjoy both the baby and the car.

I have a Quinny buzz. Tote that thing around in the fit everywhere. I'll snap some pics this weekend if you're interested to see the FITment. pun intended.

I am putting a "Pet Perego" P3 stroller in GD1 cargo, easy and still have space for other things.

We have the Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe stroller and it only fits if you put it on its side (wheels facing the rear of the trunk. What you'll find is that most larger rear facing car seats will be a tight squeeze until your child is 1 year old when you can turn the seat around. We ended up buying a FIT for around the town stuff and a CR-V for longer trips.

Great to hear that. We bought the Peg Perego Switch which is about the size of the P3 stroller. Before we bought it, we tried putting it in the cargo area at one of the stores we visited and it was tight fit. I may have to take out the cargo cover to make it easier to put the stroller in and out of the car.
