Recaro Baby seat installed!!! The Official Fitfreak sponsored baby seat!
Hey guys, I just got my Recaro Como baby seat, The Official FitFreak.net funded Recaro Como. It was on the front porch when i got home, so I opened it up, read the manual, installed it and snapped some shots of it and just wanted to show you guys.
As much as I absolutely LOVE Recaro, there's a reason these aren't legal within Canada. Not only that, but we were informed from a number of baby inspired businesses within the United States that these are not considered a true "baby seat", but they are infact a "toddler seat".

So then you know all about the numerous safety recalls on the Recaro Como? Honestly man, if I were you I'd go function over fashion when it comes to the safety of my child.

I am well aware of the (2) recalls and recaro fixes the problem by sending a kit that replaces the bad peice. I just have to give them
my seireal number and Date of Manufacture and see if mine is even one of them that were recalled. Thanks for your concern but I did all my home work before I bought it. I know your just lookin out for me! Thanks
we just bought a new car seat for our 5 month old and the instructions say it has to sit at 45degrees for rear-facing....does the recaro have that? just looks to me like its sitting on the front seat so you can still use the front passenger seat....but that the baby would sit too upright...

The Recaro seat has it all, forward or rear facing and it holds a 5-70 lb baby, and its fully adjustable. it does it all
what im saying is, is the front passenger seat rammed back against the baby seat so that the baby seat is sitting too upright? we bought a similar seat last week and it says to set it so that the babys' seat back is about 45 degree from flat ground....yours looks pushed more upright due to the front seat....
