Tune up today, cleaned coil packs (as per thread "Coil Packs and Misfires") at 60.00 a piece at R/A read this info b4 replacing with new ones! please, & added new Denso IK22 and she runs like an ape.
Changed out climate control knobs to a set that is machined like the radio knob with polished trim ring. Tinted the fog lights yellow, replaced the bulbs. Changed the color of the shock tower brace back to silver. New headlight bulbs installed too. NO MORE China Bulbs ! ! They only last 2-3 years.

Was a good day!

Cool My Rouge Hood Scoop

Kinda a sad day yesterday when the Rouge orange kevlar scoop got a color change. It was faded too much but still in great shape.
Wet sanded it with 1200 and sprayed it low sheen black. Which matches the cowling great but I will miss the coolest orange kevlar scoop ever made .

Will prob. paint it BOM when the eye lids get sprayed later on this year.

Smile Suede Console Arm Rest Cover

Got off early today because of the snow.....
Took the arm rest apart and tossed the vinyl and recovered with black suede. Looks really close to the seat fabric. It was a good day @ the fabric store because everything was 50% off.
That little thing was hard to get the corners turned in w/o puckers. But patience, sharp scissors and plenty of materials won out.

Don't get me wrong she ain't perfect but it sure is purddy!

NEXT: CRAZY RIMS

Going to try a set of '97 Tegra meshies on MzFiT.

Soda blast the whole rim, Polish the meshie part and lip then tape the polished parts. Paint the back super bright white; that makes the polished part look like they're back lit. Pull the tape and wrap everything in urethane clear + flex addative with a violet pearl.

With purple lug nuts , of course!

WOW the lid looks just like the black seat upholstery!
It's a little cheapy one I got off ebay in 2008. So far I replaced the hinge and created a stop but all in all its been good and now it really looks OEM win, win.

Meshies for MzFiT, rip Integra

Picked up a set of beat up meshies. They're perfect for me.
Filed the 2 worst ones down today to remove the curbage . One of them was painted gold in a past life. So it was perfect for testing out my soda blaster. And it worked better than I expected. Used arm and hammer from wally-world in the econo size. It cost 4 dollars to blast to clean metal!. That's a bargain price. Then wet sanded and buffed out the lip.
After the mesh parts are properly cleans and buffed I'll tape those off and spray the rest a darker gray than the bluish gray from honda. Then clear coat the whole thing. Have a set of nankang summer rubber and these will be mzfit s summer shoes.

Talking

I have been watching my driver's side window molding at the bottom of the glass/top of the door, split and crack. Just like every Honda I have owned. So just like I've done to every old Honda coated it with
Rustoleum truck bed liner in the spray can. Clean area well, tape up carefully, that's where the rubber meets the road when you un-tape the areas. I've done this to my other civics and its lasted for 5 plus years without cracking or peeling.

76k on the clock and today I changed the front pads. Weren't oo bad but changed and lubed up the points . Took a minute to get use to the pedal.
Last night cleaned and resealed the paint and rims. Ready for winter if we have one ... also under the hood. .

This president is who our new president reminds me of.

Theodore Roosevelt and Donald Trump.

1st time since President Ronald Reagan that I've been really excited who is our president.
President Trump is a team builder a true leader.
Not another carpet bagger!
Or Muslim!
