I don't know for sure about the 10" but I brother has the P3 shallow 12" in his 4 door Tacoma and even in the sealed box it sounds amazing. Only reason I didn't get the shallow's was because I wanted some super bang.

I like it. I went with it so I could have an enclosure that doesn't take up too much space. The bass sounds clean and tight. I'm also running components in the front doors and coax's in the rear doors. There's also about 80 sq ft of RF dead skin sound deadening material, all this together makes for a pretty good sounding set up

Currently run'n two 10's, 4 ports. 1600 w/5 channel BOSS amp w/ sub control. 6-3/4"
Boston Acoustic separates in all 4 doors, mounted the cross-over's in the
doors, rear silk dome tweeter mounted on the upper door panel, front tweetz mounted in the oem locations. Installed my door speakers in the oem location utilizing the oem grilles. My entire systems is pushed by the one amp Just looking at my doors you can't tell the aftermarkets are there...less incentive for those sticky finga guyz. The subs are also hidden by the leather cargo cover

Depends on the music. But if you do it right, ported is the bomb. Sealed can be pretty dang good too though. All about personal taste. I like the fact that I can keep it low and have great sound quality and I can turn it up and make my rear view mirror and radar detector come off the windshield and it still sounds great.

I have 2 setup's, but my current one right now is my 10" Image Dynamics sub in a perfectly squared box with a port in it and sounds amazing. My other setup, my friend and I built is a custom box that fits under the back seat of my GD3 and has a single 8" sub in it.

My favorite is seeing the look on peoples faces when I tell them its a single 12". I need to down grade dude. Maybe an L7 10" or something. I miss having a decent amount of trunk space and the thing weighs a decent bit.
