Test fit the front and rear bumpers today. Nothing much to do for the rear other than have a smaller rebar fabbed up.

For the front, I ended up cutting off a chunk where the hood latch went so the bumper will fit the usdm core support.

The bumper isn't completely on yet, requires a little bit of trimming but it *seems* like I lucked out and don't require moving the intercooler back? I don't plan on running the lower grills so that'll help as well.

These bumpers were off of the AJR car I believe, and was already trimmed a little for intercooler piping. Thankfully it seems like the piping is in the same place for both turbo kits so the trimming works out pretty well.

This part hits the intercooler so it'll have to be trimmed down and hopefully that's all I'll have to do.

Are you going to be switching out the Evo 2 for a smaller tip/canister now that you're not on the Kenstyle kit?

Very likely, yes. Haven't thought about what I want for sure though. Maybe a Mugen Ti.

Oh nice, a precut bumper. I moved it back so I could fit in the grill. The GD1 bumpers took a lot of cutting to fit.

Looks like someone is going all out on J's. Time to relocate your plates to show your big IC.

Test fit a friend's 15" TE37 to make sure they clear the brakes and they do! Looks like I'll be going back to a 15" wheel sooner or later.

Yup, trimming of the JDM bumper is a given to fit an intercooler behind the bumper. Here's some pics of my set up:

Even more trimming done to fit a mesh grill...

I don't know where to relocate the plate to, I might just end up leaving it in front of the intercooler.

I find it a tad big... wasn't an issue with the Kenstyle since the kit covered most of it but the exposed canister is massive when you look at it from behind.

Not enough haha... I don't have a boost controller installed so right now it's running at 3.5 psi which dynoed at 115whp/122wtq. I have an HKS EVC sitting around at home, which ideally, I'd like to get installed and swap the Greddy Emanage out for Hondata and get it retuned. But I don't know when I'll have enough funds for all that.

Yup, it's a J's hood, fiberglass only though. Planning to wrap it so I don't really want to spend the extra on the CF version. I lucked out with the front and rear bumpers. If I wasn't able to buy it in North America for a decent price shipped, I don't think I would've went for the JDM conversion. The small bumper/headlight mounts and stuff I had a friend in Japan order for me from the dealer, and the headlights were sourced from.. either Upgarage or Yahoo auctions.. I forget. Again, had the friend help me out there. The bigger stuff though like the hood and bumpers I can't rely on getting it in Japan... shipping it would cost way too much I think.

Thats kind of what I was afraid of, other then not really knowing a reliable source to get parts (I don't trust Ebay/craigslist) I thought I would maybe jsut slowly piece it to gether over the winter/summer but me thinks it will be to expensive (says the guy with a K-swapped it )
