Well here some quick shot of my CF to match Top fuel chamber intake...
Very nice. It looks like someone has been talking to BJ. haha. I love the engine cover. Are you planning on keeping yours the way it is or are you gonna add something to it? Im trying to figure out what to do with mine. I think it needs more flare imo. What do you think?

Yea i hear ya on a great cover and not wanting to do anything with it for a bit. If you look at post 181 i was gonna put my oe front H emblem on it but i chickened out. I havent figured out what i want to do with it yet. To many choices. The cover is sick tho. The cf is damn near perfect and no bubbles at all. Big up to BJ for a great mani cover.

i would like to paint it red too!!!
it looks fire!!
how do you paint that?
Bulldog adhesion promoter 2 coats, 2 coats gray primer, 2 light coats red, 1 wet coat red engine enamel, 2 light clear coats, 1 wet clear coat. Ill prolly 2k grit wetsand it in a few weeks polish it up and see how it turned out, I will post an updated pic (with a better camera) when all is said and done.
I'm awaiting my PasswordJDM carbon kevlar that should be here by the end of the week, however I'm not sure I'll run it 24/7, but I did get a couple great ideas of what to do with the stock one. I particularly enjoyed the red krinkle coat. That would pop so nice against my vbp

How do you feel about the quality of the cover? Was it you earlier in the thread who mentioned the weave not being straight? If it shows up and I'm not impressed its going back, LOL.

I love how smooth those CF covers are. I tried to sand mine down smooth but I couldnt quite get it that nice. Hopefully after some polishing and wetsanding it will be smooth like that.
