bout time- lots of pics

so ive had my fit since november (11, 2007), and i have yet to make a thread dedicated to me! so without further ado... i present MY 2008 fit sport auto, NHBP
lets start in chronological order...

at the dealership waiting for me to drive away and never look back.
ok well the rest is in no specific order

b4 i did any mods- and the front plate was still on- i took it off after 2 weeks

ready to be loaded up!

so holy looking, but yet begging for tints at the same time!

this one shows a good detail of the paint you have to see it in person tho- and its not a scratch, just a fuzz

i got some meguires(spelling) tech wax i think it was called (from walmart) it works very well and affordable

finally some TINTS!!! (ya i did a good job i know... haha)

my green sticker gets a lot of looks!

i know its been done but i gotta follow the crowd

i wanted this one to blend in

NEFC4E lol - i didnt put the other half of the sticker on - i thought it was too big (imo) for the spot

peeking into the camera.. i like this pic its new angle, and yes the guy across has 2 red cavys, he teaches drivers ed

soooo clean and shiny i like the trees reflection

this pic makes it look really black with no blue tints at all its a awesome color

and now some custom stuff--
i got these at lowes in the plumbing section i wanted to make sure the screws didnt rub on the bare metal, so i went a bit rubber crazy i put that stuff everywhere! hheha

the sub installed and tucked nicely into the corner it fits perfectly in the trunk:

and my dash with blue leds in the hvac, i used a sharpie on the other little buttons but you can only see them when its really dark out , i tried like hell to take a pic showing the little holes underneath, but couldnt fit my big ass minolta 7D under there..

heres the best pic i can get of the underneath - since there is isnt 2 lights shining down - its just the ambient light from the hvac lights -boring! and pretty much so dark it took me a few weeks to even see that there was light coming out of there - when you open it up you can see 2 holes right above the lenses perfect for leds! i spliced the wiring right into the wires for the other leds and plugged them into the holes with led grommet things - and now i can actually see the cupholders

and heres the whole inside at night:

and then the license plate out back with the 5- led units in cool white from supebrightleds... i also have a clear plastic lens my plate is warped and i needed something to hold it flat, the combo works perfectly not too bright r too dark and just the right color temp

led fogs

night time

megan racing axback!

(i guess my mom gets a bit excited for valentines day...?) also the purple needle is teeth bleach (no worries)

front end nose mask
PITA to put on, but my front end it VERY torn up so ill take it

fogs are on in this pic - it really doesnt look all that bad i like it

this meshy part is wierd- i dont think i have seen one with this before?

IT SAYS FIT! and it just barely fits on the car very snug

HIDS! they 6000k xenon
this first pic i fell over in but - hey its all there=
also ya the sun was just setting so its not that dark, but these show the color temp well
also first pics shows the LED fogs i got,,,
the two look HOT together lol
-- recap -- leds are rated at 8000k, heads are 6000k, but they match perfectly...

close up look at those babies lol

down low...

i gots me some visors too..
yup they authentic! lol

they even say mugen lol

ok so by now you should know im all about blue leds,
so heres a pic of my latest....
i only used a strip with 15 LEDS, and placed them on the doors, rather than the sills, as other people did, i feel this placement makes more sense (IMO)

and my foot, blurry yes, it was my iphone's fault, ill have to wait til monday for the new firmware (fingers crossed)

ok thanks for visiting expect me to put up some more as time goes on

Nice NHBP you have there, tint makes such a great diffrence on our NHBP cars, it makes it look so much better! Anything else planed, i just dropped mine and it looks really aggressive from all angles, i recomend it!

thanks -
some tips-
they are number 74 bulbs, dont buy the ones in the holders they are a hair too big to fit - its just easier if you buy the bulb... there are 4 all together across
the bulbs (in led form) are a bit too big to snap in so...
first test the bulbs as they only work in one direction, just lightly place them in the socket and reconect the wires.. mark a line with a marker on the bulb and the socket so you know what side is what -incase it falls out you can stick it back in quickly
the two in the middle have the clear plastic "diffuser" that bring light up to the freshair/recirc switch, just place them in as far as they go and re-screw the plastic diffuser it will hold the leds in tightly...
as for the two on the outside - i used a glob of hot glue to glue the outer side of the bulb to the housing of the hvac, the glue works well as it is easy to remove and stuff, and yet doesnt really affect the light flow, even though you are putting it where the light doesnt shine (lol)

as far as the down lights go i got the wired leds from superbrights, they come with the grommet things and ready to go for 12v use... just cut the wires shorter and splice them in its pretty self explainitory once you look inside- if you put them through the two holes in the inner white plastic piece it fits perfectly and this way you can still have the honda lenses in place and not have to cut anything or have any weird pieces sticking out of the bottom

To reduce or remove the wax from your sticker...I would try using a toothbrush with very soft bristles and brush very carefully around the edges. Even keep the bristles wet...anything to help reduce the friction. Then to finish off...either wash the car or use a clean cloth to remove any excess wax that has loosened.

If you leave any scratches behind....I recommend a swirl and scratch remover product. 3M has a really good product especially made for dark cars. Im pretty sure it wont leave a residue.
