Nice seeing Oscar Sr. and Jr. at the track today, it was an awesome event with tons of action. After I get the supercharger I hope we can do another one of these. Best time I've had in a long time.

Nice meeting you too Joe,
Unfortunately no one really went for a ride in the Kraftwerks Fit, but I saw it run and it was awesome. Unfortunately I only have one vid of the track and it was of Alec (Alredcar) running, because my girlfriend was in the car with me the whole time. Pretty much all of us Fit guys ran great and either never got passed the entire time or got passed at most only a few times buy highly modified cars. The entire track was pretty technical so it was more about driver skill and straight handling than it was about raw power, although the kraftwerks supercharger is definitely going to make a huge difference in who I am able to get by next time.

exactly... if we could get passed them before the downhill section, we could gain enough ground to leave them behind us in the long straight into the next section of corners. i loved it!!!
the grey evo with the red trunk was pretty fast along with one or 2 350zs. but all the other evos, s2ks and bmws were easy to catch, pass, and walk from.
i wouldnt try this on any other track though... only in these tight corners.
im not thinking about the kraftwerks supercharger for my honda fit... im thinking about it for my k20a crx.
I know we are straying off topic here-- but... so you guys were leaving these other more powerful cars because of the Fit's ability to hold it's speed in corners better/overall cornering characteristics? Very cool indeed if thats the case-- now add a KW supercharger to the car and holy smokes!!
Great meeting you guys! Wish I could of gone on track with you guys more often, but we are still shaking the car down to get ready for Time Attack. The car didn't do bad for its first time out though. A few tweaks here and there, and we will be ready to take some big cars down!

not all boost is created equal.
Track day was great, all the cars were pretty bad ass. Nice to know that underpower cars held their ground perfectly at the track against cars 2 times their price and horse power. To bad i didnt run with you guys sigh. Next time its on though!!!!!!!!

Yes the rules of the track were basically for the slower drivers to allow the faster drivers to pass on the straight aways. Once we got to the twisties we'd all start pulling on most other cars, and by the time we got to the straights the higher powered cars would have to wave us by (and let off throttle), it felt really good forcing a s2000 to lift off throttle to let a Fit go by.
Also I have a couple shots and a movie my girlfriend was making and I'll post it up maybe later today. Hey Joe could you post a few pics from the CD you bought from the track event?

So it is generaly safe to say that with two drivers of equal competence, one in a Fit and the other S2K (for example), the Fit has "better" handling characteristics? Wow. That is something! I know variables will come into play here in such a comparison, but it is pretty inspiring.
looking to see if you guys would like to set up another meet. would be cool to meet some fellow fit freaks and have some fun on the track. streets of willow fit meet? july 5 or 6th?
